About the Job :

You will lead a team of analytics engineers responsible for the pipelines, models, and semantic layer that power decision-making across 6sense. You will partner with Finance and Business Technology to keep executive metrics accurate, trusted, and consistently defined. You will support stakeholders across the business by making core data models, semantic layers, and dashboards reliable, scalable, and easy to use.

You will be successful in this role by making reporting faster, more trusted, and easier to use. You will increase trust in data by improving metric definitions, data quality, and reporting consistency. You will lead a team that feels trusted, supported, and connected to the impact of its work. You will bring technical credibility in dbt, warehouse design, and data architecture while leading with transparency, ownership, and collaboration.

Role Impact :

In this role, you will help 6sense make faster, more trusted decisions by improving the systems behind our most important business metrics. Your work will strengthen executive reporting, enable self-service analytics, and help the team scale with clarity, consistency, and ownership.

You Will :

Lead the Enterprise – G&A Analytics Engineering roadmap, prioritizing pipelines, models, semantic layer work, and data products based on business impact and stakeholder needs.

Maintain predictable planning, release, and reporting rhythms so stakeholders understand priorities, timelines, and delivery expectations.

Strengthen trust in enterprise reporting by improving data quality, reliability, and clarity for stakeholders.

Lead metric definition, documentation, validation, and governance for core business metrics used across Finance, GTM, executive reporting in downstream tools, such as Tableau, Hex.

Build data products, semantic models, and metric layers that help teams answer common business questions using trusted, reusable data for analytics and AI.

Develop AI-powered and agentic analytics tools that help teams explore data, answer questions, and make decisions faster.

Partner with Finance and Business Technology to align reporting needs, architecture decisions, and analytics capabilities.

Improve pipeline efficiency, automation, AI-assisted tooling, and technical debt management to increase team speed and data quality.

Lead, mentor, and develop analytics engineers by building technical depth, business context, clear career paths, and consistent feedback practices.

You Have :

8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a closely related field, with experience in SaaS or another data-intensive environment.

1+ year of experience directly managing analytics or data engineering teams, including performance management, coaching, and career development.

Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, modern ELT pipelines such as Fivetran, SQL, and data modeling.

Experience using AI tools for analytics development and delivery, such as Claude Code, Snowflake Intelligence, or similar technologies.

Experience building or improving a semantic layer, metrics governance process, or shared metric definitions.

Experience with BI or analytics tools such as Tableau or Hex and a clear understanding of what makes data products easy to use.

Experience helping non-technical stakeholders use data with confidence.

A track record of building or strengthening collaborative teams that deliver strong outcomes together.

Enthusiasm for building a collaborative, engaging, and results-oriented team culture.

Experience supporting Finance or executive reporting, familiarity with SaaS revenue metrics, and experience improving analytics engineering practices during periods of scale or organizational change.
