Sr. FP&A Analyst
The Role You’ll Play
ClassPass is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Sr. FP&A Analyst with strong business acumen. In this role, you’ll help deliver monthly and quarterly reporting, support our annual operating plan, and build budgets and forecasts that guide decision-making. You’ll work closely with partners across the company to understand performance, investigate variances, and turn data into clear insights. The role is predominantly focused on the ClassPass business, and sits on our broader FP&A team whose responsibilities span across Playlist companies.
Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including performance commentary and variance insights
Help build budgets and forecasts, including the annual operating plan and monthly, quarterly, and longer-term outlooks
Analyze drivers of variance between forecast and actuals, and partner with stakeholders on operational and strategic responses
Own and operationalize key financial metrics and models in partnership with the Pricing & Inventory team and Business Intelligence
Monitor the health and performance of critical business functions and processes, including marketing spend, payments and revenue collection, and studio partner payouts
Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and business cases (for example partner prepayments, ROI on marketing investments)
Support competitive and market analysis related to pricing and promotions to inform planning and tradeoffs
Contribute to regular financial updates for functional and executive leadership, with a path over time to step into a people manager role supporting the revenue FP&A team
Experience You Bring
3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, PE/VC, or an analytics, financial planning, or strategy role at a technology or rapidly scaling company
Strong data background with hands-on proficiency in SQL and/or Snowflake and the ability to self-serve on data questions with cross-functional partners
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with the ability to build clean, executive-ready outputs
Solid understanding of P&L mechanics and key financial drivers
Experience with Looker, Tableau, or Anaplan preferred
Strong attention to detail with high personal standards for accuracy and quality
Clear written, visual, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate analysis into decisions
Proactive and curious approach, with comfort investigating anomalies and operating in a fast-moving environment
