Sr. Director, Product Marketing
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Senior Director of Product Marketing will define how Corelight is positioned in the market and how our story is told across every stage of the customer journey. This leader will own product positioning, messaging, launches, competitive strategy, sales enablement, analyst relations, and market insights while leading a high-performing Product Marketing team. You will work closely with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, Threat Research, and Executive Leadership to ensure Corelight's innovations translate into compelling customer value and measurable business growth.
Success in this role requires equal parts strategic thinking, market expertise, exceptional storytelling, operational excellence, and the ability to leverage AI to scale marketing impact.
What You'll Do
Define and evolve Corelight's product positioning, messaging, and value propositions across the portfolio, ensuring clear differentiation in the cybersecurity market.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that accelerate product adoption, pipeline generation, and revenue growth.
Lead all major product launches, partnering closely with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Corporate Marketing to deliver coordinated, high-impact launches.
Build and scale world-class sales enablement, including messaging, competitive intelligence, battlecards, presentations, customer stories, and sales plays.
Establish Corelight as a thought leader by partnering with Threat Research and technical experts to create compelling content that shapes industry conversations.
Own analyst relations for the product portfolio, building trusted relationships with firms such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and other influential industry analysts.
Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, competitive dynamics, and buyer personas to influence product strategy and go-to-market priorities.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Product Marketing team while establishing clear goals, operating rhythms, and performance metrics.
Partner closely with executive leadership to influence product strategy, pricing, packaging, and market expansion opportunities.
Champion an AI-first operating model, leveraging automation and modern AI tools to improve content creation, campaign execution, market intelligence, and team productivity.
Measure and continuously improve the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives through data-driven insights and business outcomes.
Ensure product and solution messaging remains accurate, compelling, and consistent across the website, customer-facing content, enablement materials, and marketing campaigns.
What You'll Bring
15+ years of B2B enterprise marketing experience, including significant Product Marketing leadership within enterprise software or cybersecurity.
7+ years leading and developing high-performing Product Marketing teams.
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, Network Detection and Response (NDR), network security, intrusion detection, security operations, or a closely related market.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Demonstrated success developing product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that drive measurable business results.
Experience leading complex enterprise product launches across multiple cross-functional organizations.
Deep understanding of enterprise cybersecurity buyers, purchasing processes, and long, complex enterprise sales cycles.
Strong experience partnering with industry analysts, media, customers, and executive stakeholders.
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical capabilities into compelling business value.
Proven ability to influence senior executives and build alignment across Product, Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing.
Strategic mindset supported by strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision making.
Demonstrated experience using AI and automation technologies to improve marketing operations, content development, enablement, and organizational efficiency.

Depending on the nature and seniority of the role, a percentage of compensation may come in the form of a commission-based or discretionary bonus. Equity and additional benefits will also be awarded.
