POSITION TITLE: Software Engineering Intern

POSITION LOCATION: Remote, USA

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze and implement software requirementsFormat, validate and upload dataPerform database schema changesAutomate existing manual tasks through use of script developmentMake changes to the software code to resolve defects and make it more reliablePerform debugging and root cause analysis for issuesCommunicate with the users to better understand their needsDevelop unit testsAssist with other tasks, e.g., code review, testing, and test automation, as neededEmployee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI (protected health information) privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training within first 30 days of hire.Must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements.Employee must pass post-offer criminal background check.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline / high quality bootcamp class / equivalent work experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Good working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language, e.g..JavaScript, Python, Java, etc.SQLMySQL administrationGoogle Sheets: formulas and App Script -  a plusExcellent verbal and written English communicationAbility and willingness to acquire new skills - A MUSTHigh sense of ownership and accountability
