The Snr. HR Operations Specialist (International) is responsible for providing operational support to the HR Director (International) as well as developing and facilitating initiatives to help create a collaborative and inclusive office environment/company culture.

This includes supporting various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel based on KnowBe4’s established company goals and objectives. In addition, the ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach in assisting the HR Director (International) by managing day-to-day HR issues, acting as a contact for managers and employees to provide counsel, coaching and support on HR policies and employee related questions

The Snr. HR Operations Specialist works a.o. independently on long term absence cases, and aligns with the business in case of reintegration.

Furthermore, the Snr. HR Operations Specialist (International) may be asked to handle HR operations topics in other regions.

Responsibilities:

Assist in drafting and implementing robust HR policies, procedures and processes in line with KnowBe4’s culture and core values, including the development of the employee handbook.

Provide operative and administrative support to the HR Director (International) throughout the employee lifecycle in a confidential and sensitive manner (e.g. but not limited to  on- and offboardings, employee relations matters including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, leaves, absence, retirement and redundancy).

Coordination of long term absence cases and direct alignment with internal stakeholders and  external companies (such as -but not limited to- governmental institutes and the company doctor).

Provide operational HR support for other regions, if needed.

Assist the HR Director (International) in managing compliance requirements with regards to employee contracts, bonuses, pensions and related matters.

Assist in handling time off requests for holidays, illness and other types of leave.

Assist the HR Director (International) with benefits administration, selection and coordination with vendors.

Handling of logistical office needs including ordering of supplies, dealing with vendors and greeting visitors in case of absence of other team member(s). Coordinate on-boarding for new employees.

Manage the budget allocated for the office ensuring that we are within budget for all culture/office spend.

Assist the HR Director (International) in the execution of HR projects.

Support with ER cases or disciplinary actions as needed.

Prepare the payroll inputs for the payroll team and ensure that all inputs are administered correctly.

Come up with creative ideas to keep the company culture alive.

Coordinate cross-functional events, end of month lunch/dinners, staff birthdays, shipping employee goodies etc.

Partner with our global Culture team to ensure alignment with culture objectives.

Assist in the creation and implementation of local diversity initiatives.

Support with HR projects when needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred

Experience within HR Operations desired

Strong administration skills

Familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Office

A high level of confidentiality

Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Customer focused attitude

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail

Resourceful and proactive

Willing to go the extra mile

Very familiar with computers; Macbooks are a plus.

Microsoft Office literate
