As a Senior Data Engineer on our global data platform team, you will build and maintain high-scale, near real-time data pipelines to support our expanding global product and service teams. Working in a remote environment based in Brazil, you will extend operational support across US time zones while working with high-throughput event streams and modern data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain the data platform's core infrastructure and tooling, including pipelines, orchestration, and warehousing, that other teams build on top of, while communicating design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Implement scalable data modeling designs and orchestration logic to transform raw event streams into optimized data models for downstream business consumption.

Extend core data platform toolsets and manage the release, monitoring, and maintenance of production data pipelines.

Partner directly with upstream product teams generating data, downstream consumers, SRE/Infrastructure, and InfoSec to ensure data quality, security, and pipeline compliance.

Utilize agentic AI tooling in daily workflows to accelerate development, improve context management, and write maintainable code.

Requirements & Qualifications

~3–5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience building production data platforms (formal degree not strictly required; relevant hands-on impact is prioritized).

Strong proficiency with Python, SQL, and PySpark.

Solid practical experience with AWS cloud services and Lakehouse/Data Lake fundamentas.

Familiarity with high-throughput event-based data streaming and real-time processing patterns.

Clear verbal and written English communication skills to collaborate effectively across international teams.
