The Snr. Commission Analyst is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate calculation of commission. This individual will work alongside the Commissions Manager to ensure that employee commission plans are properly created, maintained and updated accordingly in the commission system and will be charged with the creation, review, analysis and validation of monthly reports for all commissions accrued and paid.

Responsibilities:

Calculate monthly accrued commissions and commissions paid within month end close deadlines

Update the organization’s commission system with employee changes and commission plan changes on an ongoing basis

Develop and test new commission plans in the organization’s commission system

Work with our commission system’s personnel to troubleshoot issues

Ensure accurate responses to inquiries or concerns related to commission and incentives are provided to employees

Review commission payment reports for accuracy and completeness

Ensure accurate and timely commission payouts

Prepare commission expense reports, presentations and recommendations for sales and/or finance management as needed

Actively respond to new system changes needed

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Math, Computer Science, Statistics, Accounting or related field preferred

A minimum of 2 years commission/payroll experience (or combination payroll and HR)

SQL training and some familiarity with general Database functions a plus

Experience with Xactly Incent Commission System preferred

Experience with Gmail and Google Docs

Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel, including pivot tables)

Strong verbal and written communications

Excellent time management and organization skills

Superior Excel skills

Ability to work in a team on projects and independently

Strong math and numeracy skills

Customer service and etiquette skills

Discretion involving personal and legal matters

The base pay for this position ranges from $80,000 - $90,000, which will vary depending on how well an applicant's skills and experience align with the job description listed above.
