General Description

The Mechanical Services Service Manager develops and execute business plans for mechanical services  specific to R.E. Mason customers. This individual should have service experience with industrial customers and be familiar with service, sales, and applications of valves, instruments and mechanical equipment.

Specific Responsibilities

Responsible for Mechanical & Valve Service deliverables to R.E. Mason customers for both shop and field services. Take lead responsibility for overall safety, scope, schedule, budget and quality of work for outages and field service events. Provide the necessary leadership to successfully complete outages at industrial facilities in Central & Eastern North Carolina. Work closely with internal Sales and Service associates to ensure timely planning and execution of industrial service business.

Work with R.E. Mason Account Managers to integrate valves services into overall account plans

Work with Sales Management to develop service business at new and existing customers

Provide technical sales detail required to meet customer scope expectations while developing service proposals with the R.E. Mason Services Sales Team

Work with customers to plan, execute, and deliver field service and shop repair through our established Outage Management Program

Manage and deliver service repair reports and final outage reports to customers

Travel within territory (NC/SC/VA) - 80%.

Qualifications

Required Competencies

Project Management fundamentals (Organizational Skills)

Control valve, Automatic on/off valve, manual isolation valve and safety relief valve technical knowledge

Process Control knowledge

Ability to interface with and influence decision makers

Exhibit professionalism, rapport/trust building skills

Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.

Interpersonal skills; specifically including engaged listening and acknowledging skills, as well as questioning and discovery skills

Required Education and Experience

Knowledge of process control and equipment applications for the industrial valve and instrument market

2 year Technical Degree (or) Equivalent Military experience

2 years of experience within the valve service industry, industrial plant maintenance or valve sales
