Senior Technical Solutions Engineer
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Solutions Operations is the internal capability layer behind Braze's Solutions Consulting organization. We build the tooling, systems, and telemetry that let the field move faster — so that what works in one region reaches the others while the deal is still live, and no Solutions Consultant rebuilds something that already exists.
This role exists because the work has changed. Technical Solutions Engineering was built to produce demo assets on request — custom in-app messages, Liquid, web forms, browser scripts. AI-assisted development has compressed most of that, and the field now builds a good deal of it themselves. The opportunity is no longer producing artifacts on request; it's owning the systems that make the whole organization faster, better informed, and ultimately more effective. This is an operations role with real technical depth: instead of building demo tooling, you'll build business systems, and you'll use data from across the global SolCon org to decide what's worth building at all.
You'll be based in EMEA deliberately. A core part of this role is having a point of view that spans regions — seeing how an AMER enterprise team operates versus an EMEA one, understanding why one pocket of the org wins and another doesn't, and turning that into something reusable rather than leaving it buried in a single deal or function.
WHO YOU ARE
Experience in an operations, go-to-market engineering, solutions engineering, or technical program management role in B2B SaaS, you've owned a system or a program, not just a queue of tickets
Technical enough to build: comfortable with scripting and light application development (Python, JavaScript/Node, APIs, SDKs), and fluent with AI development tooling (Claude, Cursor, agent frameworks, MCP). A CS degree is not required
Data-fluent: comfortable in Salesforce, Looker (or similar BI tooling) and a warehouse (Snowflake or similar), able to build your own dashboards and defend the numbers in them
You understand how go-to-market teams actually operate — sales cycles, presales motions, and what makes a technical evaluation succeed or stall
Able to build against a set of requirements, and equally able to write the requirements yourself when nobody hands them to you
Self-directed. Nobody is going to call you into this work; you'll identify where the leverage is and go there
A strong communicator who can hold a room with regional leadership and a working session with engineers
Curious about martech, AI tooling, and where technical evaluation is heading as the demo motion gives way to POCs and agent-driven connectivity
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Build and maintain the shared systems the field deploys into: demo automation, agent and MCP skill packages, workflow plugins, and the discoverable asset repository — built once, centrally, and reused
Turn field signal into a build backlog: define what we need to know from the SolCon org, instrument how it's collected, and translate it into prioritized work with a named metric attached
Produce insight, not reporting, what happened, why it happened, and what changed as a result. Own a recurring readout to SolCon and sales leadership across regions
Reconcile what different regional teams already measure, and surface the patterns they aren't looking at, without dictating their metrics
Go find friction qualitatively: talk to SolCons, AEs, and regional leaders about how deals & their own processes actually run, and map how each specialist function supports the deal cycle
Take on high-leverage one-off requests where a bespoke build is genuinely the right call — and be the person who can tell the difference
Drive adoption of what the team builds: visible project posts, sprint showcases, and making reusable assets hard to ignore at the moment someone needs them
Partner with Field Architecture, POC Program Delivery, Security & Privacy, Tech Partnerships, and RFP Management as the connective layer between them
