The Role

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will play a critical role in helping Modern Health win, retain, and grow business by shaping how we position and bring our products and services to market. You’ll develop differentiated messaging and go-to-market strategy informed by customer, market, and competitive insight, then align cross-functional teams to build awareness and drive adoption. This is a high-ownership individual contributor role with meaningful visibility across the company and with leadership.

What You’ll Do

Shape messaging and positioning. Use customer, market, and competitive insight to inform how we position Modern Health, then turn our clinical differentiation, platform capabilities, and customer proof into clear, audience-specific narratives and practical messaging teams can use across the buyer and member journey.

Lead go-to-market strategy and execution. Develop and deliver go-to-market plans for product launches, feature enhancements, positioning updates, and other initiatives—aligning teams on readiness, milestones, communications, enablement, assets, and success measures, then using performance and field feedback to refine the approach.

Bring product stories to market through campaigns. Partner with Demand Generation, Brand, Content, Events, and Client Marketing to develop integrated campaigns with a clear audience, message, channel plan, and desired action; use results and feedback to improve them.

Equip Sales and customer-facing teams. Create and refresh sales enablement and competitive tools—including pitch content, talk tracks, battlecards, objection handling, and RFP support—and deliver enablement that helps teams communicate our value with confidence.

Be a visible strategic partner across teams. Work with Product, Sales, Client Management, Partnerships, Clinical, Marketing, and leadership to bring customer and field insight into decisions, align priorities, make tradeoffs explicit, and keep the highest-impact work moving.

What Success Looks Like

In your first six months:

Priority audiences and initiatives have clearer, more consistent messaging informed by customer, market, and competitive insight.

Product or positioning rollouts have shipped on time, with aligned stakeholders and field-ready communications and assets.

At least one integrated campaign is in market with a strong narrative, coordinated channel plan, and clear measures of its contribution to awareness and adoption.

Sales and cross-functional partners are using refreshed messaging, enablement, and competitive materials in their work.

You’re a trusted strategic partner who independently turns direction and market insight into coordinated execution, with a strong working rhythm across the team.

Requirements:

5+ years of progressive product marketing experience, demonstrated by increasing scope and ownership, in healthcare or employee benefits.

You bring prior experience owning core PMM work across positioning, messaging, exceptional writing, go-to-market execution, campaigns, and sales enablement.

You make complex products and ideas clear and compelling, and you can move from strategy and a strong brief to the details of assets, plans, and follow-through.

You’re an organized, thoughtful operator who can lead work across teams, influence without authority, balance multiple priorities, and use judgment to keep the most important work moving.

You’re AI-savvy and use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate research, sharpen messaging, and improve marketing workflows, while applying sound judgment to validate outputs and know where human review matters.

Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be able to maintain work authorization for the duration of employment without employer sponsorship or employer-provided training plans or attestations (including, for example, the Form I-983 required for STEM OPT).

The Ideal Candidate

You are a strategic, hands-on product marketer. You can clarify a messy story, write the brief, build the rollout plan, coordinate the teams, and stay close enough to the work to see what needs to change. You enjoy making other teams more effective, and you know that great product marketing is measured not only by the quality of the narrative, but by whether people use it. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
