The Opportunity:

The Senior Product Manager is the key driver of strategic product and brand management within the Oncology portfolio. The role is responsible for the successful commercialization of established products as well as the early strategic preparation of pipeline assets for future launches.

Acting at the intersection of strategy, science, Business Excellence, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and the Field Force, the Senior Product Manager Oncology ensures that global and European strategies are translated into locally relevant and actionable marketing and communication concepts.

A particular focus of the role is close and continuous collaboration with Omnichannel Management, Business Excellence, and the Field Force. The objective is to ensure a consistent, data-driven, and customer-centric customer experience across all channels and touchpoints.

In addition, the Senior Product Manager Oncology serves as a key interface to European Marketing, ensuring consistent strategy execution, best-practice sharing, and an aligned market strategy across countries.

The role reports to the Director, Customer Engagement, Germany and makes a significant contribution to successful commercial execution and the sustainable development of the Oncology portfolio.

Primary responsibilities of the Senior Product Manager Oncology, Germany are summarized below:

Launch & Pipeline Ownership

Lead the strategic preparation of pipeline assets in close collaboration with Business Excellence, Medical, Market Access, and European stakeholders.

Develop integrated launch plans taking into account the healthcare environment, stakeholder landscape, and market dynamics.

Ensure cross-functional launch readiness, including all relevant functions, in particular Omnichannel, Business, Excellence, Field Force enablement, Medical, Market Access, and material and content strategy.

Actively shape the Go-to-Market strategy in close alignment with regional stakeholders.

Product & Brand Management (In-Market)

Own the strategic commercialization of Oncology products in the market.

Develop, implement, and continuously optimize brand and marketing strategies throughout the product lifecycle.

Derive targeted marketing initiatives based on market, customer, and competitor analyses.

Drive the performance of products, including KPI tracking and the identification and implementation of optimization measures.

Cross-functional Integration & Omnichannel Leadership

Serve as a key interface between Marketing, Business Excellence, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Omnichannel Management, and the Field Force (SOAMs & ABLs).

Work closely with Omnichannel Management to develop integrated customer journeys and data-driven engagement strategies.

Ensure consistent execution of marketing strategies across all channels and touchpoints.

Translate marketing strategies into concrete, actionable content and initiatives for the Field Force.

Establish and manage a continuous feedback loop between the Field Force and the central Marketing organization.

European Coordination & Alignment

Work closely with European Marketing to ensure a consistent portfolio and brand strategy.

Actively contribute to and leverage European best practices for local implementation.

Ensure effective alignment between strategy, European direction, and local execution.

Business & Market Impact

Own the commercial performance of the products in close collaboration with the Field Force.

Analyze market, customer, and competitor developments and translate insights into strategic implications for marketing and launch strategies.

Support the Field Force (SOAMs/ABLs) through targeted marketing and omnichannel initiatives to achieve business and revenue objectives.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

A successful Senior Product Manager Oncology combines strong strategic marketing expertise, scientific acumen, and excellent cross-functional leadership skills with a deep understanding of the Oncology healthcare environment.

University degree in Natural Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a comparable field.

8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing and product management within Oncology.

Launch experience and launch coordination is a must.

Several years of experience in cross-functional project management.

Several years of experience working with European or global teams is a must.

Strong understanding of omnichannel strategies and data-driven marketing.

Preferred Skills:

Extensive experience in pharmaceutical product or brand management within Oncology.

A strong understanding of market dynamics, German healthcare system, customer journeys, and omnichannel marketing.

The ability to navigate and manage complex stakeholder structures across functions and countries.

Strong expertise in developing and executing integrated launch strategies.

Proven expertise to coordinate and engage with a cross-functional team on country and regional level.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the Field Force.

Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.

A high degree of ownership, strategic thinking, and strong execution capabilities.

Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, combined with a structured approach and professional presence that reflects the Core Values of Revolution Medicines.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word, as well as other relevant business software.
