Senior Product Manager - Accounts and Payments
PrizePicks is the nation's leading skill-based daily fantasy sports platform. We're looking for a strategic product leader to own a critical pod within our Core domain—architecting foundational systems that drive trust, monetization, compliance, and operational excellence. This is a high-leverage role. You'll own deep strategy and execution across one of three areas: Payments (monetization and payment infrastructure), Accounts & Fraud (identity verification, account security, fraud prevention), or Responsible Gaming & Compliance (player protection, state compliance, tax workflows). You'llpartner deeply with cross-functional leaders (Finance, Risk, Legal, Ops, Engineering), and ensure your pod's experiences reinforce both player loyalty and business resilience. Your roadmap and decisions shape how we scale while protecting our players and our regulatory standing.
What you'll do:
Own Pod Strategy & Vision: Own a focused domain within core products & lead your teams multi-year roadmap
Drive Strategic Tradeoffs: Navigate competing priorities—growth vs. trust, speed vs. compliance, UX vs. operational burden. Define the principles that guide your squad's decisions.
Build for Scale: Work with Engineering leadership to architect systems that scale across new states, payment methods, and player volumes. Anticipate expansion needs and build flexibility into foundational systems.
Reduce Friction & Operational Burden: Design product and internal tooling that reduces manual work. Whether it's streamlining fraud review, automating compliance checks, or reducing payout delays, identify where product can replace manual effort.
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Build strong relationships with Engineering, Finance, Ops, CX, and Data teams. Ensure your pod's work advances shared business outcomes, not just your own metrics.
Champion Your Pod at Scale: Communicate your vision and progress to leadership. Advocate for resources and roadmap priority. Help the broader PAM domain move as one.
What you have:
5+ years of product management experience, with 1+ years leading a small PM team or owning a critical squad.
Deep expertise in at least one area: payments/monetization, fraud prevention/account security, or compliance/player protection.
Proven ability to ship complex, cross-functional products that move meaningful business metrics.
Strong people leadership skills—mentoring PMs, building team culture, creating accountability.
Strategic thinking—you can hold competing priorities and make thoughtful tradeoffs.
Experience in regulated industries (fintech, gaming, payments, healthcare).
Mastery of web and mobile product experiences (Apple App Store and Google Play).
What makes you stand out:
Background scaling a specific area (payments, fraud, compliance) at a fintech or gaming platform.
Track record reducing fraud loss, improving monetization, or simplifying compliance at scale.
Deep familiarity with state-by-state regulatory requirements for gaming, money movement, or consumer finance.
Prior experience shipping internal tooling or back-office UX that improved team efficiency.
Demonstrated ability to develop junior PMs into strong leaders.
Understanding of payment systems, fraud detection, or compliance automation.
Genuine passion for sports and/or the fantasy sports or gaming space.
Where you’ll live:
