You’ll turn complex business challenges into practical, scalable solutions that improve quality, efficiency, predictability, employee experience, and business performance. This is a highly collaborative role for a strategic thinker who can move comfortably between high-level business priorities, detailed process analysis, and hands-on implementation.

What You’ll Do

•    Develop and maintain an enterprise process improvement framework aligned with Interstates’ strategic objectives.

•    Identify opportunities to improve cross-functional processes, reduce waste, eliminate duplication, and strengthen handoffs.

•    Partner with leaders and process owners to understand business needs, customer expectations, pain points, and desired outcomes.

•    Map current-state processes and analyze bottlenecks, variation, rework, delays, failure points, and control gaps.

•    Use data, root-cause analysis, Lean principles, and structured problem-solving to identify improvement opportunities.

•    Build business cases, recommendations, and prioritized improvement portfolios for leadership decision-making.

•    Design future-state processes that improve efficiency, quality, consistency, scalability, and stakeholder experience.

•    Develop standard work, role definitions, decision frameworks, process controls, and practical documentation.

•    Establish meaningful performance measures, targets, ownership, reporting expectations, and review routines.

•    Partner with IT and digital teams to evaluate automation, workflow, dashboards, alerts, and other technology-enabled solutions.

•    Facilitate workshops, process-mapping sessions, pilots, and design discussions with the people who perform and support the work.

•    Lead complex, cross-functional improvement initiatives from charter through implementation and transition to process ownership.

•    Coordinate plans, milestones, resources, communications, risks, dependencies, and adoption strategies across teams and locations.

•    Apply change management practices to support alignment, training, adoption, and sustained behavior change.

•    Establish governance and sustainment practices that help improvements deliver lasting results.

•    Coach process owners, project teams, and other improvement professionals in continuous improvement methods.

•    Communicate results, lessons learned, and scalable solutions to leaders and stakeholders across Interstates.

•    Strong analytical thinking, root-cause analysis, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills.
