About the role:

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you are passionate about mobile development and iteration, working on advanced projects across our core mobile applications. You bring deep experience building native mobile experiences and contribute across both iOS and Android platforms. Your primary focus is to work directly with product management and engineering partners to conceive, develop, and refine features that deliver outstanding experiences and value to our customers. You work in an iterative, data-driven environment to improve application performance, scalability, and usability. You bring a strong commitment to collaborative problem solving, thoughtful architecture, sophisticated design, and high-quality products while helping strengthen mobile engineering practices across the team.

Compensation: 6 200 - 8 800 USD per month (B2B)

What you do each day:

Design, develop, and deploy features across core iOS and Android applications

Lead code reviews and architectural reviews for mobile features developed by other members of the team

Ensure the performance, quality, stability, and responsiveness of mobile applications

Collaborate with product management to refine concepts and deliver mobile experiences that create customer value

Execute high-velocity, highly performant experiments and A/B tests to improve customer and business outcomes

Strengthen mobile engineering practices by staying current with platform capabilities, growth tools, personalization technologies, and industry standards

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, application defects, and technical issues across mobile platforms

Develop and maintain code quality standards and promote consistent engineering practices across the mobile codebase

Introduce architectural improvements and refactor existing code to improve scalability, maintainability, and developer efficiency

Write and maintain automated tests at the appropriate architectural level

Qualifications:

5+ years of industry experience developing commercial mobile applications across iOS, Android, or both platforms

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Advanced experience with native mobile development technologies, including Swift and Kotlin,

Experience with Objective-C for iOS and/or Java for Android will be a plus,

Experience with native mobile frameworks, libraries, application architecture patterns, and platform development best practices

Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful application programming interfaces (APIs) and back-end services

Proficient understanding of Git and modern mobile software development workflows

Experience contributing to code reviews, architectural decisions, and technical guidance for other engineers

Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve workflows, streamline execution, or enhance outputs

What will help you succeed in this role:

Strong proficiency with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices for mobile applications

Experience with application performance, memory profiling, monitoring, and optimization tools

Familiarity with mobile platform design principles, interface guidelines, push notifications, and platform services

Ability to work at a fast pace with a drive to quickly deliver value to our customers

Strong attention to detail with an interest in building clean, maintainable, extensible, and thoughtfully designed mobile experiences

Commitment to collaboration, openness to feedback, and enthusiasm for sharing technical knowledge with others

Exceptional breadth of interest shown through tangible, self-initiated ventures or deep community involvement; you love trying new things and may possess a demonstrated history of successfully pivoting or starting over in life and work
