Senior Manager, Paid Acquisition
Your Role & Mission
As the Senior Manager of Paid Acquisition, you will own Apollo.io's performance marketing engine across all paid channels. You will lead a team of highly proficient channel specialists, driving scalable, efficient growth through Paid Search, Paid Social, Connected TV, Audio, OOH, and emerging channels. You'll operate as both strategic architect and hands-on operator, setting the vision for how paid acquisition fuels Apollo's growth while staying close enough to the data to drive results directly. You'll be a key voice in our growth strategy and a culture-builder who raises the bar for the team around you.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing team of paid channel specialists across Paid Search (Google, Bing), Paid Social (Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit), TV, Audio, OOH, and adjacent channels.
Manage an 8-figure annual budget with a relentless focus on efficiency, incrementality, and pipeline contribution.
Build and evolve Apollo's full measurement and attribution framework, including pixel configurations, CAPI integrations, and marketing mix modeling.
Drive a systematic testing and experimentation strategy across creative, audience, bid strategy, landing pages, and channel mix.
Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Brand, Analytics, Product, and Finance to align paid programs with broader company goals.
Own forecasting, pacing, and performance reporting, translating data into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
Manage relationships with external agencies, media partners, and technology vendors.
Champion both PLG and SLG acquisition motions, understanding how paid channels serve different parts of the funnel and buying journey.
Skills & Expertise
10+ years of experience in performance marketing, with significant time in B2B SaaS.
Proven track record of driving strong, measurable results at a high-growth company managing a large, complex media budget.
Deep hands-on expertise across Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and offline channels (TV, Audio, OOH).
Strong command of tracking and attribution; pixel setup, server-side/CAPI configurations, UTM frameworks, and multi-touch attribution models.
Highly analytical; comfortable working in data tools (e.g., Looker & Amplitude) and partnering closely with analytics teams.
Experienced at building, managing, and mentoring senior individual contributors.
Excellent communicator who distills complex data into clear narratives for executive audiences.
The listed Pay Range reflects the total cash compensation inclusive of annual base salary and annual bonus as applicable. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonus target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Apollo and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Tier 2 Pay Range (All other US Locations)
$159,200—$199,000 USD
