Senior Manager, Offline Media
About the role
Offline is the biggest open opportunity on our growth team, and we’re excited to find someone to own the building of it with the right partners and a measurement-first model. You’ll own TV (linear + CTV), podcast, and direct mail end to end: partners, budget, testing, and the scale-or-cut calls. You’ll report to our VP of Growth and run the function independently, with a direct line to our CMO.
This role is part of our remote HQ! We have a fully remote, high-trust work environment, and also come together on a quarterly basis for amazing off-sites where we can connect IRL.
In this role, you will:
Relaunch and scale TV (linear + CTV) with Tatari: rebuild the plan, own creative rotation, and ramp spend on evidence, not gut
Rebuild our podcast program: choose the buying model (partner or in-house), select shows, set the DAI vs. host-read strategy, and put promo-code attribution in place
Scale direct mail profitably with our partners, and push on both strategy and measurement
Own offline measurement end to end: design and read Haus geo tests and holdouts, triangulate with post-purchase surveys and promo codes
Set and defend offline budgets, make scale/cut calls with conviction, and present them to leadership
Hold agency and partner teams to clear KPIs, and work with our creative team to make better TV, DM, and podcast assets
Build the quarterly test roadmap and the 2027 offline plan, including upfront decisions and new reach bets (OOH, sponsorships, portfolio buys)
We're looking for someone who:
Has 8+ years in performance or growth marketing, including 4+ years owning offline channels (TV, podcast/audio, direct mail) brand-side at a DTC or consumer subscription brand
Has personally scaled an offline channel from test to meaningful budget
Has managed partners like Tatari, Oxford Road, Ad Results Media, PostPilot, or Lob (agency-side leaders who owned results, not just execution, are welcome)
Designs and reads incrementality tests (geo holdouts, matched-market, platform lift) and knows how to calibrate an MMM with experiments
Knows TV buying and reporting (Tatari, iSpot), linear vs. CTV economics, and podcast buying (host-read vs. DAI, Magellan, Podscribe)
Understands direct mail audience modeling, holdout design, and response curves
Ties brand tracking (Tracksuit or similar) to acquisition
Is strong in Sheets/Excel and comfortable with Northbeam and post-purchase survey tools (KnoCommerce). SQL/BigQuery is a plus
Approach to the role:
Measurement first: causal over correlational, skeptical of platform-reported numbers, and quick to push back on speculation
An owner who makes scale/cut calls with conviction and defends them with data
Treats partners as an extension of the team and holds them accountable, but never outsources the thinking
Comfortable with long feedback loops, and knows the difference between a brand bet and a failed test
A clear, concise communicator who can present to the CMO and VP of Growth and make our creative better
A full-funnel thinker who connects reach media to lower-funnel efficiency and brings non-traditional ideas
Compensation & Benefits:
At Grüns, we're committed to providing a competitive total compensation package — grounded in market data that considers our size, stage, industry, and location. For this role, the base salary range is $140,000-$160,000 plus bonus depending on experience, paired with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and growth of our team.
