Role Overview

This role combines GM-level ownership with hands-on execution. As Senior Manager, DACH Region, you will:

Define and deliver the DACH market strategy

Grow and scale a high-performing network of sellers, creators, and partners

Lead commercial, operational, and programming initiatives

Act as the voice of the DACH region within the global organization

Build the systems, metrics, and processes required for scalable growth

This is a role for a high-impact commercial leader with strong analytical capability, deep cross-functional leadership experience, and a passion for the creator and collector economy.

Key Responsibilities

Own DACH Market Performance & Commercial Strategy

Own full DACH P&L-style metrics: GMV, revenue contribution, seller growth, retention, and margin

Develop and execute the strategic plan for DACH, grounded in market mapping, data analysis, seller insights, and category dynamics

Build and maintain strong relationships with top sellers, providing strategic support to enhance performance

Lead contract negotiation, renewals, and performance planning with key sellers and partners

Define and manage seller incentive budgets, optimizing for ROI and strategic outcomes

Manage and develop the DACH commercial team; act as a player-coach operating across all levels

Build & Scale the DACH Seller and Creator Ecosystem

Identify, attract, onboard, and scale high-potential sellers, breakers, and creators

Deliver consultative, data-backed coaching to top sellers to improve performance, engagement, and operational excellence

Partner with marketing, creators, influencers, agencies, and communities to grow reach and strengthen the ecosystem

Build long-term relationships with category-defining partners

Drive Cross-Functional Growth

Collaborate with Marketing on the global calendar, ensuring strong execution of key campaigns (e.g., Topps NFL/NBA releases, Black Friday)

Partner with the broader Fanatics ecosystem (Topps, Commerce, partners) to unlock strategic opportunities beyond Live (e.g., WWE, UFC, athlete integrations)

Lead cross-functional initiatives addressing structural growth drivers (category expansion, operational improvements, product gaps, process enhancements)

Lead Market-Level Programming & Execution

Adapt global campaigns to DACH audiences and develop locally relevant programming

Lead execution of tentpole events, product releases, partnerships, and community activations

Ensure high-quality execution across all shows, partnerships, and events (online and offline)

Support logistics for offline events and fairs in partnership with sellers

Qualifications

Experience & Background

7+ years in strategy, commercial leadership, marketplace operations, partnerships, category management, or a fast-paced tech environment

Proven track record of owning and delivering commercial outcomes

Strong experience within the DACH market, with deep understanding of local dynamics, consumer behavior, and commercial landscape

Experience building and scaling partner ecosystems or seller networks

Experience in high-growth, cross-functional environments

Experience managing and developing teams (direct or dotted-line)

Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) a must

Nice to Have

Experience in two-sided marketplaces or live commerce

Background as a seller, creator, or operator in collectibles or creator economy

Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Salesforce, Sigma, Tableau

Passion for sports, culture, collecting, or community-driven commerce
