Role Overview

As a Senior Manager, Conversion Rate Optimization, you lead the strategy, team, and operating model responsible for increasing the effectiveness of HCP’s digital traffic-to-lead journey. You translate Growth Marketing priorities, customer behavior, acquisition economics, and website performance into a cohesive conversion strategy that improves both lead volume and lead quality across channels, audiences, and service verticals. You own an extensive experimentation portfolio, guide annual planning and prioritization, and establish the systems, standards, and capabilities that allow conversion optimization to scale.

You lead and develop a team while operating as a senior cross-functional partner to Performance Marketing, Brand, Content, Product Marketing, Design, Analytics, Product, Engineering, and Marketing Operations. You influence how the organization approaches landing pages, experimentation, personalization, measurement, and digital customer journeys, balancing near-term performance opportunities with longer-term improvements to infrastructure and experience. You use data and customer insight to challenge assumptions, establish clear investment priorities, and ensure experimentation produces durable knowledge that informs broader growth strategy. You create the conditions for teams to test intelligently, learn quickly, and translate successful findings into sustained business impact.

Our team is passionate, empathetic, hard working, and above all else focused on improving the lives of our service professionals (our Pros). Our success is their success.

What you do each day:

Lead the conversion rate optimization strategy and annual roadmap across the website, aligning experimentation priorities with acquisition goals, customer segments, Growth Marketing objectives, and broader business priorities

Manage and develop a high-performing conversion optimization team, establishing clear ownership, coaching team members, allocating resources, and strengthening experimentation and analytical capabilities

Direct a portfolio of A/B and multivariate experiments across landing pages, forms, messaging, calls-to-action, site architecture, and other critical stages of the traffic-to-lead journey

Establish the research strategy that combines behavioral analytics, funnel analysis, visitor feedback, session recordings, usability research, customer insights, and market signals to identify high-value conversion opportunities

Shape landing page and digital journey strategy across paid and organic acquisition channels, partnering with Performance Marketing, Brand, Content, and Product Marketing to improve relevance and conversion across distinct customer segments and verticals

Drive cross-functional improvements to navigation, site performance, trust signals, form experiences, personalization, mobile journeys, and other structural factors affecting conversion and lead quality

Influence Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Marketing Operations roadmaps to strengthen experimentation infrastructure, measurement, data quality, testing velocity, and delivery of complex conversion initiatives

Define the measurement framework for conversion performance, connecting individual experiment results and cumulative program impact to qualified lead generation, acquisition efficiency, and Growth Marketing objectives and key results

Establish scalable standards for experiment intake, prioritization, quality assurance, statistical rigor, documentation, rollout decisions, knowledge management, and communication of learnings across the organization

Advance an organization-wide culture of experimentation by translating findings into strategic recommendations, identifying patterns across tests and audience segments, and helping partners apply conversion insights beyond individual experiments

Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization, growth marketing, digital experimentation, product growth, or a related discipline, including ownership of sophisticated experimentation programs with measurable business impact

Advanced expertise in experimentation methodology, including hypothesis development, statistical power, sample sizing, significance, test validity, interaction effects, segmentation, and interpretation of complex results

Deep experience with experimentation, digital analytics, behavioral analytics, and website optimization platforms (i.e. Optimizely, VWO, Google Analytics 4, Hotjar, FullStory, Contentsquare...)

Proven experience combining quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to identify customer friction, prioritize opportunities, and shape digital growth strategy

Demonstrated experience developing conversion strategy across multiple acquisition channels, customer segments, products, or verticals while connecting optimization work to lead quality, acquisition efficiency, or revenue outcomes

Experience influencing Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Marketing Operations, and senior Marketing stakeholders on experimentation infrastructure, website strategy, measurement, and investment priorities

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, a related field, or equivalent work experience

Proven experience driving team efficiency or output quality through the strategic use of AI tools and automation

What will help you succeed:

Strategic thinking that connects customer behavior, marketing economics, website performance, and experimentation into clear long-term priorities

Experience leading through influence by creating clarity, building alignment, and driving accountability across cross-functional partners without direct authority

Strong business judgment with the ability to determine where experimentation creates value and where broader structural or experience changes are required

Executive-ready communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex findings, make evidence-based recommendations, and influence decisions across senior stakeholders

Ability to create clarity across competing priorities and lead teams through complex, cross-functional work with significant dependencies

A test-and-learn mindset that values rigorous experimentation while recognizing that learning, customer understanding, and organizational knowledge are meaningful outcomes

Ability to develop people, raise standards, and create an environment of accountability, curiosity, healthy debate, and continuous improvement

A multi-dimensional background with a breadth of cross-functional interests or depth of specialized mastery

Personal resilience to learn from scratch, and successfully thrive in ambiguity
