Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager
About the role
Our Growth Marketing team pursues efficient growth through experimentation and customer insight. As Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will own the strategy, execution and roadmap for deepening subscriber engagement, improving retention, and growing customer lifetime value.
You will turn customer behavior and business priorities into clear choices about which audiences, journeys, and experiments deserve investment. You will define success, align cross-functional partners, and translate results into the next set of growth decisions. Strong hands-on CRM fluency will help you guide execution, challenge assumptions, and bring high-impact ideas to market.
Responsibilities:
Lifecycle strategy and priorities. Build a quarterly roadmap grounded in subscriber needs, cohort performance, and commercial opportunity. Prioritize initiatives by expected impact, effort, dependencies, and learning value; make clear recommendations about what to scale, change, or stop.
Retention and customer value. Set goals with Growth leadership and Data for churn, order frequency, and LTV. Connect lifecycle performance to incremental revenue and sustainable customer behavior, and recommend where to invest for the strongest return.
Customer and journey strategy. Shape segmentation and personalization using lifecycle stage, ordering patterns, engagement, and churn signals. Define how email, SMS, push, and in-app experiences work together to encourage repeat ordering and strengthen the subscriber relationship.
Experimentation and offer strategy. Own a hypothesis-led learning agenda across messaging, journeys, offers, and contact frequency. Partner with Data on holdouts, incrementality, and sound test design; assess promotion costs and longer-term retention alongside near-term conversion.
Cross-functional direction. Partner with Product, Data, Portfolio, Brand, and Engineering to address subscriber friction and unlock growth opportunities. Write clear briefs, align dependencies and resourcing needs, and influence shared priorities through evidence.
Performance and decision making. Lead lifecycle performance reviews with a clear account of what changed, why it matters, and what to do next. Present trade-offs and recommendations to senior stakeholders, and turn successful tests into repeatable programs.
Scalable delivery and AI adoption. Guide the standards for journey design, measurement, and execution quality. Prioritize AI-assisted workflows and automation that improve speed or effectiveness, evaluate their impact, and stay close enough to Braze and campaign delivery to coach, troubleshoot, and unblock work.
Qualifications:
Relevant depth. 6+ years in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or retention for consumer businesses, with meaningful experience in a subscription or marketplace model and scaled customer audiences.
Strategic ownership. A track record of setting lifecycle priorities and leading programs that measurably improve retention, repeat purchasing, or LTV. You can explain the business problem, your choices, and the incremental impact of your work.
Analytical judgment. Confidence working with cohort analysis, segmentation, experimentation, and customer economics. You know how to distinguish correlation from causation and balance short-term conversion with durable customer value.
Technical and channel fluency. Strong knowledge of email, SMS, push, and in-app CRM, plus hands-on experience with Braze or a comparable platform. You can translate a strategic idea into actionable journey, audience, data, and measurement requirements.
Influence and communication. The ability to align cross-functional partners, communicate trade-offs clearly, and make a persuasive recommendation to senior stakeholders. You bring structure to ambiguous problems and move work forward without relying on formal authority.
Ownership and adaptability. Strong prioritization and project leadership, a high bar for customer experience, and the ability to adjust direction as evidence and business needs change. You actively explore where AI and automation can improve the team’s work.
Preferred requirements:
Experience with Tableau, Mixpanel, SQL, or other analytics tools.
Experience designing automated or AI-assisted marketing workflows.
Mentoring teammates or leading complex cross-functional initiatives experience
