Senior iOS Developer

Nexaminds is looking for a Senior iOS Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you'll design, build, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications using Swift. You'll collaborate closely with backend and web engineering teams to ensure seamless API integrations and a consistent user experience while contributing to architecture decisions, code quality, and application performance.

Location: Mexico (Remote)

Requirements:

5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.

Strong proficiency in Swift and native iOS development.

Hands-on experience building and maintaining production iOS applications.

Experience integrating RESTful APIs into mobile applications.

Familiarity with Azure cloud services and cloud-based application environments.

Experience collaborating with backend teams using Java and web teams using React.

Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, performance, and stability.

Experience troubleshooting and resolving application performance and stability issues.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and collaborative software development practices.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift.

Build scalable and maintainable mobile features following iOS development best practices.

Integrate RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend engineers to ensure reliable data flow between mobile applications and backend services.

Work closely with React web and Java backend teams to ensure consistent functionality and user experiences across platforms.

Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, sprint planning, and technical decision-making.

Troubleshoot and resolve application performance, stability, and production issues.

Contribute to improving application quality, maintainability, and overall engineering standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to communicate progress, blockers, and technical tradeoffs.

Support the App Store release process and contribute to continuous improvements in mobile development and deployment workflows.

Contribute to CI/CD practices and automated testing where applicable.
