Senior Growth Marketing Specialist
About EnergyHub
EnergyHub empowers utilities and their customers to create a clean, distributed energy future. We help consumers turn their smart thermostats, EVs, batteries, and other products into virtual power plants that keep the grid stable and enable higher penetration of solar and wind power.
About the Opportunity
As a Senior Growth Marketing Specialist, you will scale our Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) by driving enrollment growth.
In this role, you will take ownership of the marketing strategy and enrollment goals for key device categories. By combining your expertise in multi-channel marketing and project management, you will launch initiatives that champion our VPP programs. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to build high-value relationships and uncover new opportunities for optimization.
To thrive in this role, you should be a versatile marketer who embraces new challenges as opportunities to learn and grow. A natural curiosity and an appetite for testing, analyzing, and adapting will be the keys to your success.
What you will do:
Own enrollment goals for your categories, prioritizing initiatives that drive the highest volume.
Deeply understand the customer journey, identify friction points, and stay informed about industry realities.
Identify new opportunities and spearhead end-to-end marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including paid social, to drive measurable growth.
Leverage your marketing analytics expertise to build compelling pitches that make a data-driven case for new initiatives.
Oversee paid media management and reporting, regularly analyzing marketing efforts to identify bottlenecks, optimize channels, and confidently make strategic assumptions with existing data.
Seek opportunities to negotiate co-marketing efforts with OEMs, complementary brands, and communities.
Explore creative messaging strategies and manage external copywriters and designers to deliver high-quality, on-brand content and design assets.
Other duties as assigned.
What we expect from you:
4+ years of non-internship marketing experience, ideally in a startup or agency environment where you gained hands-on experience across multiple channels rather than being specialized in just one area.
High comfort level with ambiguity. You are willing to test out new concepts, learn fast, and pivot your approach when data tells you a campaign is not working.
A strong foundation in marketing analytics with the ability to review datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Hands-on experience with marketing tracking, platforms, and tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta, and CMS platforms.
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Sigma, Tableau, or adjacent technologies.
Excellent project management and communication skills to easily juggle multiple campaigns and collaborate effectively across teams.
Proven ability to build category expertise to educate and enable partners, paired with informed opinions on creative and customer experience best practices.
Please note that sponsorship of new applicants for employment authorization, or any other immigration-related support, is not available for this position at this time.
