Things You Get To Do:
Build and maintain Connect experiences in TypeScript and React, with supporting Go services.
Improve app onboarding, testing, compliance review, approval, publishing, and management.
Turn manual support and compliance work into clear, auditable self-service workflows.
Design APIs and integrations across Alpaca's identity, account, trading, and market data systems.
Own features from design through production and help improve the team's technical direction.
Who You Are (Must-Haves):
5+ years of experience building production full-stack applications.
Strong TypeScript and React skills.
Experience with Go or another modern backend language.
Strong SQL and relational database skills, preferably PostgreSQL.
Experience designing REST APIs and integrating distributed services.
Experience with OAuth, OIDC, or similar authorization systems.
A track record of delivering secure, user-facing features end to end.
Clear communication and sound judgment when requirements are incomplete or ambiguous.
Who You Might Be (Nice-to-Haves):
Experience with developer platforms, partner portals, or marketplaces.
Experience with compliance or operational workflows in a regulated industry.
Experience with GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, or production observability.
Experience with financial markets, brokerage systems, or market data.
Experience working at a startup or on a distributed remote team.
