Who We're Looking For
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong Python and modern frontend experience to join a highly collaborative, internationally distributed team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the stack, building scalable applications and APIs, solving complex technical problems, and contributing to a collaborative development environment.
You’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, and other technical stakeholders to build location based alerting and fleet management capabilities. The role will involve both modern development and working within an existing legacy codebase as the team continues evolving toward a more service oriented architecture.
Primary Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using Python, Django, React, and Next.js
Build and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs
Develop scalable data transformation and ETL workflows using Databricks or similar platforms
Write efficient SQL and manage PostgreSQL database schemas
Develop unit tests and contribute to integration and end to end testing
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues across the full technology stack
Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high standards for code quality
Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement new features and business logic
Participate in pair programming and collaborative development throughout the development lifecycle
Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions
Help guide and mentor junior developers
Some Must-Haves:
5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong experience with Python and modern full stack development
Strong experience building frontend applications with React
Strong JavaScript or TypeScript experience
Experience with Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Proficiency with SQL and PostgreSQL, including database schema design and query optimization
Strong understanding of automated testing and experience with tools such as pytest, unittest, or Jest
Strong debugging and problem solving skills
Experience working with Git based version control
Familiarity with CI/CD and automated build pipelines
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non technical team members
Comfortable with pair programming and highly collaborative development environments
Self directed and dependable while working in a fully remote environment
Nice to Have:
Experience designing or integrating GraphQL APIs
Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms
Understanding of ETL processes and data transformation workflows
Experience working with geospatial data, Geocoding APIs, H3, or PostGIS
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience working within large monolithic legacy codebases and helping transition them toward microservices
Experience with AI agents or AI code assistance tools in the development workflow
Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar software development ticketing systems
