Overview:

As a Senior Financial Analyst supporting our Go-To-Market organization, your focus will be on taking ownership of a number of key FP&A processes. Partnering closely with Sales, Sales Operations, and Marketing leadership, you will ensure GTM operating plans are aligned with financial goals and create the transparency that allows us to make the right decisions. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining the reporting, analytics, and modeling behind bookings, pipeline, and sales capacity, turning GTM data into insight that shapes how the company invests in growth. In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst will gain deep, hands-on operating experience at a venture-backed software firm. They will also have unique exposure to the CFO and senior executives across functional groups.

What you will do:

Serve as finance lead for Sales, providing data-driven insight that enables GTM executives to achieve their operating plans

Partner with cross-functional groups on monthly financial reporting (Annual Recurring Revenue, New and Renewal bookings, retention), pipeline and coverage analysis, sales productivity metrics, and ad hoc financial analysis

Increase automation and efficiency of current processes through Workday Adaptive Planning, Excel improvements, and AI productivity tools (Claude, Microsoft Copilot); drive the adoption of improved financial processes through teaming with multiple stakeholder groups

Support the annual GTM planning cycle, including sales capacity modeling, headcount and quota setting, and sales compensation plan analysis in partnership with Sales Operations

Ability to work closely with business partners and executives, including Sales and GTM leadership, to provide insight and guidance; demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models, including long-range models or three-statement financial models; demonstrated ability to turn financial data into relevant insights that support sound decisions

Self-starter with a positive attitude; outstanding verbal and written communication skills; excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; attention to detail; demonstrated drive for continuous process improvement; ability to balance multiple responsibilities with competing deadlines

Own the month-end review process for GTM results, highlighting potential risks and opportunities against plan through detailed variance analysis and reporting

Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives

What we are looking for:

Required:

Undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (equivalent work experience will be accepted in place of the education requirement)

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant FP&A experience, including financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting; experience supporting a Sales or GTM organization as a finance business partner

Specific technical or software skills required Advanced Microsoft Excel (complex formulas and modeling techniques); experience working with CRM and bookings data (Salesforce or equivalent); experience with AI productivity tools (Claude, Microsoft Copilot)

AI Skills/Knowledge:

Experience with AI productivity tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot required

Examples leveraging AI productivity tools to automate, create, or enhance a process is preferred

Preferred Skills (a plus but not required):

Prior experience supporting a Sales function as a finance business partner, including quota, capacity, or sales compensation analysis

Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning

SaaS industry experience, including familiarity with ARR, gross and net retention, and bookings-to-revenue dynamics

Prior work history in private equity or venture-backed companies
