Senior Events Manager
About the Role
We are searching for a highly motivated & experienced Senior Event Manager to join our growing team. This person will plan and execute events for the tech B2B audience. The ideal candidate is a self starter who excels in event marketing, and project management in a face-paced environment..
In this role, you’ll partner with one of the world’s leading brands and be the driving force behind driving engagement and growth.
Responsibilities:
Plan and manage events balancing creative ideas, seamless execution and budget efficiency.
Manage venue selection, vendors, speaker coordination/prep, logistics, registration, catering and sourcing swag.
Create workback schedules, project plans, and budgets. Oversee resources, mitigate risks, and ensure deadlines are met.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, leading meetings, communicating updates, and partnering on event promotion.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external key stakeholders (speakers, sponsors, partners, and vendors).
Develop and lead creative briefs for experiential outputs to ensure a unique yet cohesive experience and brand presence across all events.
Manage on-site event flow, logistics and event staff.
Create and manage event budgets.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and incorporate them into event strategies.
About You
The essentials:
4-7 years of experience in event creation and planning.
A love for events and a knack for creating memorable experiences. You're not just planning events; you're crafting moments.
Experience managing live events, vendors, attendees and internal stake-holders
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive work style, with a highly organized and collaborative approach to problem-solving
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Desire to learn and experiment with new generative AI technologies and tools
Ability to travel for on-site events

This role offers location-based salary ranges. Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills, and location.

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range.
