Senior Ecommerce Manager, Post-Purchase
About the role
We're looking for a Senior Ecommerce Manager, Post-Purchase at Grüns! In this role, you'll own the experience our customers have after they purchase a Grüns product: our cancellation flows, order management, loyalty, and referral experiences. You'll partner closely with our Retention organization to improve how long customers stay with us, and with Engineering and Design to build new post-purchase features from idea to launch. You'll own the upsell, cross-sell, and retention metrics tied to this experience, using customer research, UX design, and analytics/retention reporting to know what's working and why. This is an opportunity to build a repeatable, scalable post-purchase testing function from the ground up in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This role is part of our remote HQ! We have a fully remote, high-trust work environment - and also come together on a biannual basis for amazing off-sites where we can connect IRL.
In this role, you will:
Own the performance and engagement of customers after they purchase a Grüns product, including our cancellation flows, order management, loyalty, and referral experiences.
Build new post-purchase features end to end, from customer research and UX design through launch, partnering closely with the Retention team, Engineering, and Data on what needs to be built.
Own analytics reporting on engagement and features, identifying leading indicators of feature usage and how they tie to retention.
Own our upsell (to longer-frequency plans), cross-sell, and retention metrics, with a strong focus on price modeling, price positioning, and testing.
Help members discover and build their own custom Grüns nutrition pack across our product lineup: a core part of how we scale over the next five years.
We're looking for someone who:
3-7 years of product management, Ecom, or retention-focused work, preferably at a DTC company or a company that delivers digital experiences as part of its core service.
Proficient with Claude Code and Claude Design (or similar AI-assisted workflows) across ideation, design, copy, and build.
Deep experience with analytics and retention reporting (e.g. GA4, Heap, or a retention/cohort platform).
Comfortable partnering with engineers on what needs to be built, whether that's APIs, backends, or queues.
Deep knowledge of customer research and UX design methods.
Experience with price modeling, price positioning, and a pricing/testing platform (e.g. Intelligems).
Approach to the role:
AI-driven: Obsessed with automating work and creating new workflows using AI.
Curious and analytical: Constantly digs into engagement and retention data to understand customer behavior and identify new opportunities for improvement.
Action-biased: Doesn't wait for perfect information. Moves fast, iterates often, and learns from what's live.
Collaborative communicator: Keeps engineering, design, and the Retention organization aligned through clear, proactive updates. Knows how to work cross-functionally to keep projects moving.
Process-minded: Brings structure to feature and pricing testing. Knows how to brief clearly, QA effectively, and document learnings post-launch.
Member-obsessed: Approaches every feature and test from the lens of the member: "Where might they get stuck?" "What would make them stay, upgrade, or refer a friend?"
Growth-oriented: Seeks feedback, asks questions, and builds skills across tools.
Decisive prioritizer: Synthesizes engagement, retention, and pricing data to make informed bets, picking the path expected to drive the most impact even without complete information.
Compensation & Benefits:
At Grüns, we're committed to providing a competitive total compensation package — grounded in market data that considers our size, stage, industry, and location. For this role, the base salary range is $140,000-$160,000 plus bonus depending on experience, paired with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and growth of our team.
