Senior Director, Global Pricing Execution
The Opportunity:
Revolution Medicines is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and execution-oriented Senior Director, Global Pricing Strategy & Execution to build and lead global pricing capabilities and support the execution of strategies to support our emerging oncology portfolio. This leader will establish the frameworks for pricing and contracting strategy for current and future investigational therapies targeting RAS-addicted cancers..
This role will partner closely with Global Market Access, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Finance, Regulatory, Legal, Supply Chain, and Regional/Country teams to translate strategy into compliant, launch-ready execution.
Key Responsibilities
Establish global pricing architecture, including list-price strategy, country sequencing, price corridors, launch price recommendations, lifecycle pricing, and governance processes.
Partner with Global Market Access to develop integrated pricing and reimbursement strategies that support value communication, payer engagement, and sustainable patient access.
Lead development of global price business cases and financial models, including gross-to-net, demand, revenue, access, and affordability scenarios.
Define pricing guardrails, discounting principles, Innovative Access Agreements (IAAs), approval authorities, and exception-management processes that enable disciplined local execution.
Partner with regional and country teams to adapt global pricing strategies to local healthcare systems, reference-pricing dynamics, HTA requirements, tender environments, and regulatory constraints.
Collaborate with Commercial Operations and IT to design and implement fit-for-purpose pricing, contracting, and analytics tools.
Establish dashboards and operating rhythms to monitor price realization, gross-to-net performance, access outcomes, contracting performance, and pricing risks.
Support launch readiness planning by ensuring pricing strategy, governance, systems, and cross-functional accountabilities are in place ahead of anticipated approvals.
Provide thought leadership and clear recommendations to senior executives; communicate complex pricing tradeoffs in a concise, decision-oriented manner.
Build and develop a high-performing pricing team and foster pricing capabilities across the global organization.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MBA, or equivalent) in Health Economics, Public Policy, Life Sciences, or related field.
12+ years of experience in global pricing, market access, health economics, or government policy within the biopharmaceutical industry.
Deep understanding of global pricing and reimbursement systems (e.g., US, EU4+UK, Japan, emerging markets).
Proven track record of influencing senior leadership and driving strategic decisions.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with rare diseases, oncology, or specialty pharmaceuticals.
Familiarity with international reference pricing (IRP), Most-Favoered-Nation (MFN) policy, HTA processes, and value-based pricing models.
