The Team:

Upstart’s Auto Sales and Dealer Operations team partners with dealerships to expand access to affordable credit through a more effective, data-informed lending experience. The team works across Sales, Relationship Management, Risk, Product, and Operations to identify the right dealer opportunities, launch new partners effectively, and help dealerships build consistent adoption of Upstart’s auto lending program.

As a Remote Dealer Relationship Manager at Upstart, you will launch and manage a portfolio of lower-volume dealer partners located primarily in rural and geographically dispersed markets. You will own the dealer relationship from pre-launch preparation through ongoing adoption, engagement, and performance management.

You will build strong dealer relationships through a fully remote engagement model, using automated reporting, targeted email communication, phone outreach, and highly strategic Zoom meetings. You will identify the appropriate engagement cadence for each dealership, guide new rooftops through a successful launch, monitor dealer activity, and create practical plans to improve utilization.

While these dealerships may operate at lower monthly volumes than larger metropolitan rooftops, their collective contribution is meaningful to the organization. This role will ensure these partners receive a consistent, relevant, and high-quality experience while helping Upstart develop a scalable model for launching and supporting remote dealer relationships.
