The role.

Huge is looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in GCP and cloud-based data solutions. In this role, you will design and develop scalable data architectures, pipelines, and analytics solutions while partnering with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable data products.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with GCP data services, data engineering fundamentals, and analytics integrations, along with an interest in applying AI and Agentic Engineering to modern data workflows.

What you’ll be doing.

Design and develop scalable data architectures and cloud-based data solutions using GCP.

Build and maintain data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataform, Cloud Storage, and other GCP data services.

Develop data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT solutions.

Use SQL and Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development.

Implement and support GA4 and GTM integrations for data collection, tracking, and analytics.

Ensure data quality, governance, performance, and reliability across data solutions.

Explore and integrate AI-driven and agentic solutions into data engineering workflows.

Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.

Contribute to a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and continuously improve engineering practices.

What we’d like to see.

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with a strong focus on GCP and cloud-based data solutions.

Advanced hands-on experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataform, Cloud Storage, and other core GCP data services.

Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and scalable data architectures.

Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development.

Experience with GA4 and GTM, particularly for data collection, tracking, and analytics integrations.

Exposure to AI / Agentic Engineering and the ability to apply AI-driven solutions to data engineering workflows.

Strong understanding of data quality, governance, performance optimization, and scalable pipeline design.

GCP certification is highly preferred; Claude Engineer certification or a similar relevant AI certification is a plus.

Strong English communication skills (B2/Upper-Intermediate or higher).

Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders and translate business requirements into reliable data solutions.

Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
