A world-leading provider of information solutions that enhance the performance of science, health, and technology professionals. They help scientists make new discoveries, lawyers win cases, doctors save lives, corporations build commercial relationships, insurance companies assess risk, and government and financial institutions detect fraud. The customer is a global company headquartered in Amsterdam, employing more than 7,000 people in 25 countries.

What You’ll Do

Refactor and improve the existing load testing suite

Reduce load test execution time from 16 hours to under 4 hours

Migrate remaining test suites from Jenkins to GitHub Actions

Enhance GUI regression test coverage and reliability

Improve test automation to increase release confidence and reduce change fail rate

Identify issues, gaps, and opportunities for automation improvements

Use AI tools to support test analysis, identify gaps, and improve testing efficiency

Collaborate with engineering teams to improve overall quality and delivery processes

What You Bring

Solid experience in Automation QA, Quality Engineering, or Backend Engineering

Strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium

Experience with automation frameworks such as Serenity BDD, Cucumber, or JUnit

Good knowledge of Groovy and test reporting tools such as Allure

Experience with GitHub Actions and Jenkins

Basic experience with Kubernetes

Strong interest in using AI tools for testing, troubleshooting, and identifying quality gaps

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with engineering teams

Nice to have

Experience with load testing and performance optimization

Experience with Java WebSocket

Experience migrating CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins to GitHub Actions

Experience improving GUI regression test suites

Previous backend engineering experience

English level

Upper-intermediate
