Senior Accountant (Revenue)

What you will be doing
Work under the leadership of the CFO to conduct and manage client invoicing, revenue recognition, and revenue forecasting.
Manage accounts receivable, vendor portal setup and maintenance, and cash inflow reporting.
Manage client records and data hygiene, including contract summaries and database maintenance.
Manage employee expense reimbursement via payroll.
Assist in assessing sales & use tax exposure, ensuring taxes are invoiced and/or remitted in a timely manner.
Assist with month-end close, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
Assist CFO with creation of timely financial reports per GAAP, including monthly financial statements, forecast versus actual variance reports, and other reports for key business metrics.
Assist with financial statement audits, including responding to request lists quickly and maintaining accounting files in a manner conducive to outside audit.
Assist with documentation of policies and procedures, including regular maintenance and updates.

What you bring to the table
5-8+ years of experience in an accounting role on a small team.
Thorough understanding of GAAP standards and regulations, including ASC 606.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Experience creating financial statements.
Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software platforms.
High proficiency in both Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including formulas, functions, and data analysis.
Above-average discipline, personal organization, and attention to detail.
Independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.
A demonstrated hunger for personal and professional growth.
A self-evident love and care for the craft of finance and accounting.

Compensation is $105,000 - $125,000
