Senior Accountant
We’re looking for a collaborative, self-motivated Senior Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team.
As our Senior Accountant, you’ll independently own meaningful areas of our accounting operations while helping us improve how the work gets done. You’ll combine strong accounting judgment with a systems mindset to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and help our accounting processes scale.
What You'll Do
Independently own key areas of the month-end close, including reconciliations, journal entries, account analysis, and other complex accounting activities within your scope
Support accounting across a multi-entity environment, including areas such as intercompany activity, consolidation, foreign currency, payroll and compensation accounting, and related reconciliations
Apply strong accounting judgment to investigate discrepancies, resolve issues, and maintain accurate and well-supported financial records
Identify recurring manual work, control gaps, and inefficient accounting workflows, and support implementing practical improvements
Use NetSuite/OneWorld functionality, automation, AI, and other tools to streamline accounting processes, improve data quality, and reduce unnecessary manual effort
Partner with teammates and cross-functional stakeholders to understand process needs, recommend improvements, and implement solutions that balance efficiency, accuracy, and appropriate controls
Support audit readiness and documentation while helping ensure accounting processes remain scalable, repeatable, and well controlled
To Be Set Up for Success in This Role, You'll Need to Have
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with the ability to independently own substantive accounting processes and portions of the close
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience applying accounting principles to increasingly complex transactions and operational accounting issues
Hands-on experience working with NetSuite/OneWorld in a multi-entity accounting environment
Experience identifying and implementing accounting process improvements, including examples where you have automated, redesigned, streamlined, or otherwise improved recurring workflows
Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and drive them through resolution
Experience collaborating across teams and communicating accounting or process requirements clearly to stakeholders
A CPA or equivalent accounting credential
If Any of the Below Also Describe You, This Could Be an Exciting Opportunity
You have experience in SaaS, software, technology, or another complex and rapidly evolving business environment
Your career includes experience in both public accounting and an in-house accounting or finance organization
You’ve helped optimize financial close or reconciliation workflows using tools such as FloQast, BlackLine, or similar platforms
You’ve used advanced Excel, reporting or data tools, workflow automation, no-code tools, SQL, AI, or similar technologies to improve accounting processes
You have experience supporting ERP enhancements, implementations, integrations, or other accounting systems initiatives
You enjoy experimenting with better ways to complete accounting work while maintaining strong financial controls and accounting integrity
In Addition, We're Always Looking for Candidates Who
Take ownership of their work and independently move problems toward resolution while knowing when to involve others
Bring curiosity to existing processes and look for practical opportunities to make them simpler, more reliable, and more scalable
Balance speed and efficiency with accuracy, sound judgment, and appropriate financial controls
Communicate clearly and work effectively with both accounting teammates and cross-functional partners
Are comfortable operating in an evolving environment, navigating ambiguity, and adapting as business needs change
Proactively incorporate AI tools into day-to-day work to improve productivity and accelerate delivery
