Position Overview
As a Scheduling Manager, you will lead scheduling functions across large-scale hyperscale data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining scheduling standards, managing project schedules, supporting preconstruction efforts, leading schedule analysis activities, and providing schedule-driven insights that support successful project execution.
This role serves as a strategic partner to project management, project controls, engineering, procurement, construction leadership, commissioning teams, and executive stakeholders. You will oversee schedule development from project pursuit through final turnover while ensuring project teams have accurate, actionable planning information.
Success requires leadership capabilities, advanced scheduling expertise, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead scheduling activities across multiple hyperscale data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects.
Develop and implement scheduling standards, best practices, procedures, and reporting methodologies.
Manage baseline schedules, milestone schedules, recovery schedules, commissioning schedules, and schedule forecasts.
Support project pursuits, preconstruction efforts, and execution planning activities through schedule development and analysis.
Identify schedule risks, constraints, and opportunities while supporting mitigation and recovery planning efforts.
Provide project leadership teams with schedule visibility, reporting, and performance analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
What You'll Do
Lead scheduling efforts from project pursuit through project closeout and turnover.
Develop conceptual schedules, detailed execution schedules, and resource-loaded schedules supporting mission-critical construction projects.
Establish critical path logic, project milestones, procurement integration points, commissioning milestones, and turnover requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, project controls personnel, procurement teams, engineers, subcontractors, and customers to validate project execution plans.
Facilitate pull-planning sessions, schedule review meetings, milestone workshops, look-ahead planning meetings, and recovery planning discussions.
Analyze project progress, productivity trends, procurement status, and schedule performance to identify risks and opportunities.
Perform critical path analysis, delay analysis, schedule risk assessments, and forecasting activities.
Support project teams in evaluating schedule impacts associated with design changes, procurement delays, labor constraints, weather events, and change orders.
Develop executive reports, schedule dashboards, progress updates, and performance metrics.
Mentor and support schedulers and project teams while promoting consistent scheduling practices across the organization.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on schedule reliability, planning accuracy, and project execution performance.

What It Takes
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline and 8+ years of scheduling, project controls, construction management, engineering, or project execution experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience developing and managing schedules for hyperscale data centers, mission-critical facilities, EPC projects, industrial construction, power infrastructure, utilities, heavy civil projects, or other large-scale construction programs.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing scheduling efforts across multiple projects or major project teams.
Advanced understanding of construction sequencing, procurement workflows, commissioning activities, field operations, and project execution methodologies.
Experience developing baseline schedules, recovery schedules, resource-loaded schedules, commissioning schedules, and milestone schedules.
Strong capabilities in critical path analysis, schedule forecasting, delay analysis, recovery planning, and schedule risk management.
Experience supporting project pursuits, conceptual planning, preconstruction activities, and project startup efforts.
Ability to collaborate effectively with project management, construction leadership, project controls, engineering, procurement, owners, subcontractors, and executive stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
Experience with Microsoft Project, Power BI, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Oracle Primavera, or similar project management and planning platforms is preferred.
Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP), PMI-SP, PMP, or related industry certifications are preferred but not required.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and strategic focus.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to travel approximately 75% and support long-term onsite project assignments throughout North America as required. Travel may include extended durations based on project assignments and business needs.
