Salesforce Architect

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Salesforce Architect to join our team focused on delivering CRM Platform Implementation and Managed Services solutions to our global clients - to increase customer long-term value.
As a Salesforce Architect, you will bring considerable technical and product expertise to deliver world-class Salesforce-based solutions to clients. The Salesforce Architect is a key member of the CRM team and is responsible for leading the technical design and delivery of solutions on Salesforce projects, focusing on Marketing Cloud Engagement, Marketing Cloud Next/Advanced, Data 360 and Core (Sales + Service Cloud).
This position works alongside teams composed of Project Managers, Consultants and Developers and transforms business requirements into concrete technical solutions, defines guidelines, standards, and roadmaps that support high-impact deliveries, acting as a consultative reference for internal and external clients. Through technical capability management, seeks to balance innovation with governance, quality, and compliance, promoting continuous improvement, technical talent development, and a culture of excellence.

Key responsibilities
Lead highly-complex solution design: Solve critical technical problems, establish guidelines, best practices, standards, and roadmaps that support high-impact technical and business deliveries. Partnering with client executives and CRM leads to design end-to-end cross-platform solutions, translating marketing goals into robust Salesforce technical roadmaps.
Cross-Cloud Architecture: Own the blueprint and integration strategy unifying Marketing Cloud (Engagement & Next), Data 360, and Core (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) according to business requirements.
Data & Activation Strategy: Lead data ingestion, identity resolution, and segmentation strategies across Data 360 to activate real-time marketing use cases across email, web, and app channels.
System Integration: Oversee secure API integrations connecting client data lakes, websites, and third-party systems directly into the Salesforce ecosystem.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship: This position works closely with senior leadership and operational areas, but with strong influence over technical team members. Can be responsible for people management as their direct leader, able to support and provide technical feedback for their development, as well as help improve the overall delivery capability of the team through knowledge sharing.
Influencing strategic planning: Participate in strategic discussions, contributing to the definition and direction of innovation strategies, projects, new platforms, and technologies within the organization.
Represent the CRM Team: Can participate in events, forums, and strategic on-site meetings when required, strengthening the credibility of the practice and acting as a technical reference.
Pre-sales support: Can be involved in Pre-sales initiatives to help the team's leadership to define new Scopes of Work, as well as estimating the effort needed to deliver required solutions.
Requirements
8+ years hands-on experience in the Salesforce ecosystem
8+ years of Marketing Cloud Engagement and/or Sales Cloud experience.
Experience with lifecycle marketing and new Salesforce platforms such as Marketing Cloud Next/Advanced, Data 360 and Agentforce is preferred.
There may be opportunities to learn new platforms according to our CRM Partnerships and project pipeline.
Experience with writing SQL and AMPscript
Familiarity with HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript
Strong understanding of SOAP APIs, REST APIs and integration architectures between platforms.
Experience working with client teams and consulting staff through full-lifecycle implementations and/or implementing integrated solutions including products from the Salesforce ecosystem.
Experience in a technical leadership role designing, building, and executing complex automated marketing programs with Salesforce Marketing Cloud that include email, SMS, mobile, in-app messages.
Experience in acting as a leader and as an individual contributor
Track record of working independently to drive projects to completion in a matrixed environment.
Excellent customer service/people skills
Communicate effectively both verbal and written
Ability to work flexible hours (prioritizing EST timezone)
Possess and maintain Salesforce Certifications. Preferred Salesforce Certifications are:

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
Salary Range:
$170,000—$200,000 USD
