Sales Operations Administrator (Mid-Atlantic)
General Description:
The Sales Operations Administrator (SOA) is a valuable resource for Regional Partners, Account Executives, and Sales Operations Team. The SOA partners with Sales Operations Specialists (SOS) to support a group of assigned Account Executives. The SOA will assist in supporting sales by requesting quotes from appropriate Vendors and Distributors, generating quotes for Customers, managing SalesForce.com Opportunities. In this role, the SOA is required to interact with Manufacturing Partners and internal business partners in a fast-paced support atmosphere. The SOA will provide general administrative and sales support to their assigned sales team and will report to the Regional Sales Operations Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Use SalesForce.com to assist in creating accounts, generating quotes, tracking opportunities, and processing purchase orders.
Assist in data entry for quotes that will be delivered to new and existing customers.
Provide review of opportunity details to prepare an order to be submitted.
Promptly responding to internal and external inquiries.
Develop and maintain relationships with GuidePoint’s key Vendors and Distributors.
Leverage resources and relationships to bring Value to Customers.
Serve as a liaison between GuidePoint Account Executives, Purchasing, Accounting and Contracts Departments to process and track orders.
Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlines under the guidance of the SOS team members.
Ad-Hoc projects including maintaining Salesforce.com data integrity, Salesforce.com reporting, deal registration support, renewal support, etc.
Send VAR quotes to customers via DocuSign as required.
Other related duties to support the region as required and assigned.
Required Experience and Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Moderate experience (2-3 years+) in a customer service/sales support type role.
Must be self-motivated with a strong ability to prioritize tasks.
Must have outstanding attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
Ability to work well within a team atmosphere.
Must be available on the last day of the month/year to assist the team in processing orders.
Strong ability to multitask

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely via email, phone, and written documents
Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office and Internet Navigation

Demonstrated willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools.
Preferred Experience and Education:
Technical sales/support and outbound calling experience preferred.
Prior experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software such as Salesforce.com is preferred but not required.
