Ripple Trading and Markets Manager
THE WORK:
Ripple is expanding, and we are seeking an exceptional and ambitious individual in London to contribute across a number of DeFi oriented capital markets verticals within the group. The role is geared towards an entrepreneurial and self-starting individual who excels in an outcome driven environment.
The candidate will report to a Senior Director of Trading and Markets, performing a multifaceted role, helping to drive the development of key initiatives including but not limited to, the client facing trading franchise, the adoption of the Ripple stablecoin and Tokenisation with a focus on on-chain dynamics.
A strong candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of traditional financial markets infrastructure, coupled with an interest/experience in web3 and the digital asset economy.
We’re looking for a highly analytical and adaptable professional who is looking for a high-impact role with a rapidly growing company at the intersection of finance and technology.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Work closely with the Trading and Markets leadership team to help define team priorities and track performance for RLUSD initiatives on chain and off chain
Coordinate cross functionally on key initiatives, supporting the build out, monitoring and development of overall strategy.
Develop deep analysis and present novel ideas to Trading and Markets leadership
Contribute towards various aspects of Ripple’s Stablecoin (RLUSD) market development, including institutional adoption, liquidity management, operational efficiency and governance
Engage in market analysis (on chain and off chain) and research to identify trends and opportunities in decentralized finance and traditional finance
Assist in managing relationships with development partners, market makers, and other key market participants.
Support internal teams with the broader company’s efforts
Build subject matter expertise on the convergence of Digital Assets, XRPL and Traditional Finance.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Bachelor's degree in analytical discipline. Advanced degrees are a plus.
5+ years of experience in trading, finance, or related fields, with a focus on Digital Assets, FX, Commodities or Fixed Income.
Demonstrated knowledge of trading and market infrastructure in digital assets and/or traditional finance.
Ability to work with little direction on novel concepts, from validating theory through to productionising offering.
Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously across different streams in capital markets
Ability to process complicated information quickly and accurately under pressure.
Work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Passion for blockchain, fintech, markets, and technological innovation in trading.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to articulate complicated topics in a simple and digestible format.
