POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager who will be leading and driving the business in Vietnam. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the business by working with assigned channel partners in Vietnam in advancing the adoption and utilization of AtriCure’s solutions. This individual will also be responsible for achieving or exceeding distributor’s order through targeting, execution, incentivizing, and regularly reviewing Key Accounts with distributors. This role must be able to provide appropriate clinical and procedural support to surgeons and hospital teams where required, in accordance with company policies and applicable compliance requirements. This position requires excellent relationship management, technical expertise, strategic relationship building and strong business acumen to drive therapy adoption, improve patient outcomes and expand the company’s market presence. The Regional Sales Manager will serve as the commercial lead for AtriCure’s business in Vietnam, with accountability for sales performance, therapy adoption and market development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

Meet or exceed quarterly and annual Distributor Order Target

Work with the Area Director and Distributors to develop, implement and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve the assigned Order Target and fostering the growth in Vietnam market.

Identify, evaluate and prioritize new business opportunities to grow AtriCure’s presence in Vietnam, with a focus on expanding therapy adoption and driving revenue growth.

Identify, segment and prioritize target hospitals, physicians and accounts based on clinical opportunity, market potential and strategic performance.

Strengthen distributor management – Manage distributor performance through target setting, regular business reviews, forecasting, pipeline management, inventory planning and commercial priorities.

Develop distributor capabilities through coaching, product training, and field engagement.

Therapy and Business Development

Partner with Key Opinion Leader (KOLs) to promote adoption of AtriCure’s therapies.

Work with marketing, training & education and distributor teams to execute strategies that drive therapy adoption.

Ensure the continued delivery of innovative solutions to meet patient needs.

Identify, maintain and interpret up to date market trends and implications, competitor activities and regulatory guidelines in assigned markets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals and healthcare professionals to develop new accounts and strengthen existing partnerships.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and distributors to drive local market access initiatives, including reimbursement and regulatory support.

Establish partnerships with professional societies to drive awareness and adoption of AtriCure therapies.

Analyze market potential for new therapies, identify barriers to entry and implement targeted strategies to overcome them.

Lead and drive in-market sales activities to accelerate therapy adoption, develop new accounts and increase utilization within existing accounts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in relevant field (e.g., medical device, life science, biomedical engineering or business)

Extensive progressive sales experience required with a minimum of 5 years of medical device or healthcare sales experience in Vietnam

Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving sales targets and successfully developing new therapies and markets

Experience in cardiac surgery, electrophysiology, structural heart, cardiovascular medical devices or other clinically complex medical technologies is highly preferred

Must have strong clinical and technical aptitude

Excellent interpersonal skills. The candidate must enjoy and excel at personal relationship building.

Problem-solving / trouble-shooting skills

Must be confident, goal oriented, flexible, possess strong business acumen and strong execution, self-motivated and a team player

Must have strong and proven relationship building skills

Computer experience with Microsoft programs such as PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word

Ability to travel 30-50% within assigned market

Fluent in Vietnamese and English, both written and spoken

Adhere to all company rules and compliance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Currently living in Ho Chi Minh or Hanoi, Vietnam

Eligible to work in Vietnam without the need of sponsor from the employer
