As a Reconciliation Officer, you will play a vital role in streamlining our financial operations by meticulously managing reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining the integrity of our records. By collaborating with diverse teams, your expertise will optimize procedures and enhance operational efficiency.

In this role, you'll:

Perform thorough bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between our internal balances and bank statements.

Evaluate and handle agent e-float purchases accurately.

Process Partner wallet funding transactions efficiently.

Meticulously examine each transaction to verify exact amounts and promptly investigate any discrepancies.

Conduct daily reconciliation of bank transactions.

Align banks with corresponding bank agent IDs for accurate tracking.

Record daily and monthly bank fees meticulously.

Identify and investigate any discrepancies or balance differences promptly.

Support the Reconciliation Manager in implementing various projects.

Undertake ad hoc tasks as required.

Key details

Location: You'll work from our office in Abidjan.

Work authorization in Côte d'Ivoire is required.

This is a permanent position.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in English and French.

Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline.

Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Strong grasp of accounting fundamentals.

Attention to detail and accuracy in reconciling financial data.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
