QE Automation Engineer
We are building an automated regression capability that lets us release faster with higher confidence, and we are hiring senior QE engineers to design and build the automated suites that make it real. You will work across the product with cross-functional teams, writing and maintaining scalable Playwright and TypeScript automation that runs in our pipelines and catches problems before customers do, and you will help convert today's manual regression into reliable, reusable automation.
What You Will Do:
Partner with the team: Work with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Automate across layers: Design and implement automated coverage for functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.
Build and maintain the framework: Design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable automated frameworks and scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
Validate API:. Develop and execute automated API tests to validate system functionality, integrations, and reliability.
Troubleshoot with developers: Work closely with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, providing timely feedback.
Engage in Agile ceremonies: Take part in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Harden regression suites: Build and maintain reliable automated regression suites that validate software stability and release readiness.
Integrate into CI/CD. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, monitor results, and improve reliability and feedback speed.
Convert manual to automated: Convert existing manual test cases into automated coverage, capturing domain knowledge so nothing is lost as automation grows.
Stay current: Track fintech industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in QA and the financial domain.
