Publishing & Writing Coach

We're seeking an experienced publishing and writing coach to work with writers looking to sharpen their craft and break into the publishing industry. This role includes teaching writing techniques and editing, guiding writers through manuscript submission and publishing strategy, and helping students build these capabilities through consistent, practical skill building. Coaches also support the career side of the journey, including resume review, interview prep, salary negotiation, and networking strategy, as well as freelancing for those pursuing independent writing work. Ideal candidates have professional experience in publishing or writing, prior coaching or mentoring experience, and a clear, structured approach to helping writers grow both their craft and their career. Coaches set their own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, and partner with our team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every student.
