About the role:
Join our dynamic team as a Localization Manager, where you'll be overseeing and coordinating localization projects across multiple platforms and markets for our largest fashion client.
The Localization Manager serves as an integral point of contact ensuring timely delivery of translated content, maintaining quality standards, managing stakeholder relationships, and tracking project progress. The role requires coordination between internal teams, external vendors, and regional stakeholders to ensure all campaigns are executed on schedule and within scope.
What you will be doing:
Management and delivery of localization projects – Submit and authorize translation projects for website, Social Media and print assets while adhering to the client brief, and management of projects end to end. Provide translated copy in required formats and reassign completed deliverables to concerned teams for progression to subsequent project phases.
Linguist management - Orchestrate the linguist network by allocating and reassigning workloads to ensure timely pickups and deliveries; send daily task recaps and availability confirmations; and maintain consistent, personalized communication to drive engagement and quality.
Conduct quality assurance pre and post localisation- Verify strings, context, and content accuracy across the tool to ensure projects are set up correctly for localisation.
Monitor project timelines - Track project progress, identify delays early, and notify stakeholders of any delays or revised deadlines.
Coordinate with stakeholders – Liaise with global and regional teams, internal linguists, client copywriters and validators to address inquiries and resolve issues.
Manage external relationships - Maintain professional communication with key stakeholders, highlight translation delays, follow up on revised timelines, and keep teams informed of urgent briefs and campaign changes.
Tracking and reporting- Generate campaign status reports for stakeholders, record issues, and maintain comprehensive records of all project communications and deliverables.
What you need to be great in this role:
Attention to detail
4 years' experience managing localisation/digital projects from initial briefing to delivery
Competent user of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Hands on experience working on PM tools like Trello, etc
Prior experience with localization platforms and translation management systems such as Smartling or other CAT tools.
Good understanding of project finances – estimating, timings, costs and invoicing.
