Program Manager, Business & Partnership Programs
Modern Health is looking for a Program Manager to help drive cross-functional business and partnership programs. Reporting to our Lead Program Manager, you’ll manage the day-to-day execution that makes internal and external partnerships succeed — coordinating across Product & Tech, Clinical, Operations, Go-to-Market, Legal & Compliance, Finance, and external health partners.
This is a role for a builder in the earlier chapters of their program management career: you’ll own meaningful workstreams and initiatives with real accountability from day one, while being supported and coached by experienced program leadership. Strong performers will grow toward leading Modern Health’s largest, most strategic programs end-to-end.
This position is eligible for remote work within the UDA, however it is not eligible to be performed in Hawaii.
What You’ll Do
Drive execution of business and partnership programs — manage workstreams across ongoing internal and external partner operations, launches, and implementations, keeping deliverables, owners, and timelines on track
Support external partnerships — as needed, serve as a day-to-day operational point of contact for external partners: run check-in cadences, track commitments, and help hold partners accountable to SLAs and quality standards
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders — keep all cross-functional stakeholders like Clinical, Operations, Go-to-Market, Legal & Compliance, and Finance aligned and unblocked through proactive, consistent communication
Build the operational backbone — create and maintain program plans, trackers, documentation, and playbooks so programs run predictably and don’t depend on any one person’s memory
Monitor program health — track success metrics, flag risks and issues early, and escalate with a recommended path forward rather than just a problem statement
Support business operating rhythms — contribute to partnership business reviews, status reporting, and planning cycles, and prepare crisp updates for leadership
Improve how we work — identify and implement process improvements that make partner operations faster, smoother, and more scalable
Finish the job — see workstreams through past launch to long-term optimization and post-launch learnings
Who You Are / Requirements
An emerging business athlete — organized, adaptable, and energized by turning partially defined problems into clear plans, priorities, and follow-through
3+ years of experience in program management, project management, or operations in a complex, cross-functional environment
Strong program management fundamentals — planning, sequencing, milestone and dependency tracking, and risk management, with exceptional attention to detail
A documentation and systems thinker — you naturally reach for (and create) playbooks, templates, and repeatable processes instead of doing the same manual task 100 times
A clear communicator — you give stakeholders proactive visibility into your work, run effective meetings, and capture decisions and action items so nothing falls through the cracks
Comfortable with ambiguity and biased toward action — you ask sharp questions, propose solutions rather than waiting for instructions, and know when to escalate
Experienced working with external partners, vendors, or clients — comfortable balancing relationship-building with holding others accountable to commitments
Collaborative, with high empathy and high accountability — you support your teammates, give and receive direct feedback, and hold yourself to a high bar
Growth-minded — you actively seek feedback and are excited to grow toward leading larger, more complex programs end-to-end
Deeply motivated by Modern Health’s mission and passionate about enabling better mental health outcomes at scale
Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be able to maintain work authorization for the duration of employment without employer sponsorship or employer-provided training plans or attestations (including, for example, the Form I-983 required for STEM OPT).
Bonus Points
Experience in digital health or working with health-related products, services, or partnerships
Experience in a high-growth startup or similarly dynamic environment where building while flying is the norm
Experience with partner or client-facing implementations — onboarding, integrations, or managed services
