About the role

In this role, you’ll develop a customer-centric narrative for Tines’ platform capabilities. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, commercial, and marketing teams to turn technical capabilities into clear positioning, compelling content, and effective product launches.

IT will be a priority audience, and you’ll help us reach customers and decision-makers across other lines of business. Working alongside our audience product marketers, you’ll connect a consistent platform story to the problems different business teams need to solve.

You’ll be a leading voice on where Tines fits in the evolving AI landscape. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys building with the product, forming a defensible point of view, and turning that thinking into work our teams and customers can use.

You can work remotely within the US but must in an eastern or central state.

What you will be doing:

Market research. Conduct customer interviews and win/loss research, follow AI developments, and contribute to analyst engagement. Turn what you learn into recommendations for our positioning and go-to-market approach.

Competitive intelligence. Understand emerging competitors and established alternatives. Translate research into differentiation, battlecards, objection-handling resources, and training.

Positioning and messaging. Create a clear narrative for what customers can build, run, and monitor with Tines. Partner with product marketers to make it relevant to IT and expanded audiences.

Product launches. Lead product marketing for new platform capabilities, from identifying audiences and use cases through launch messaging, content, enablement, and measurement.

Enablement. Partner with Sales Enablement and customer-facing teams to build confidence in our positioning and equip them to address questions from customers, business decision-makers, and technical evaluators.

Content and collateral. Create practical resources, including blogs, decks, webinars, guides, and product collateral. Work with Content Strategy and experts across engineering, solution engineering, customer success, and support to make our story accurate, credible, and useful.

What you bring with you:

8+ years of experience across product marketing, marketing, product management, technical or operational roles, or strategy consulting, including at least three years of direct product marketing experience.

Experience marketing a technical B2B software product in a fast-moving environment, with an understanding of how enterprise teams evaluate and buy software, particularly within IT.

Strong positioning and messaging skills, with outstanding written and verbal communication. You can simplify complex concepts without losing accuracy and adapt a narrative for different audiences.

Practical experience using AI to solve business problems, curiosity about the market, and the ability to discuss its strengths and limitations. You enjoy learning a product by building with it.

Experience launching products or capabilities and bringing them to new audiences, including identifying use cases, understanding personas, and developing go-to-market programs.

Strong research and analytical judgment. You can turn customer insight and competitive intelligence into a clear point of view, then use feedback and results to refine it.

Comfort balancing strategic, creative, and tactical work. You take ownership, prioritize effectively, and create content and enablement yourself.

Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships across distributed teams. You can earn support for a recommendation, defend it thoughtfully, and change your approach when the evidence calls for it.

Compensation: $175,000-$185,000 + equity
