Role Overview
As a Product Manager II, you drive key product objectives for HCP’s Recurring Jobs and Service Plans product area, helping Pros build lasting customer relationships and generate more predictable revenue for their businesses. You identify and prioritize opportunities that make it easier for Pros to create, sell, manage, bill for, and deliver recurring services.
As a Product Manager II, you partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Product Marketing, and Product Operations to lead product work from customer discovery and strategy through launch, measurement, and iteration. You translate customer and business insights into a focused roadmap, define meaningful measures of success, and balance customer experience, commercial outcomes, and technical considerations. You bring strong product judgment and experience with payments, subscription billing, service plans, memberships, or recurring and loyalty products to solve complex customer problems and independently drive cross-functional work forward.

What you do each day:
Identify market opportunities and define product vision and strategy for Recurring Jobs and Service Plans
Conduct customer interviews, surveys, competitive research, and product discovery to deeply understand Pro needs and market opportunities
Analyze customer behavior, product performance, and business data to prioritize opportunities and measure impact
Develop and maintain a focused product roadmap aligned with customer needs, business goals, and product strategy
Partner with Engineering, Design, Data, Product Marketing, and Product Operations to develop, validate, and refine compelling solutions
Collaborate with Design and Engineering to define product requirements, user flows, technical considerations, and tradeoffs
Drive product execution from planning through launch, measurement, learning, and ongoing iteration
Communicate product direction, priorities, decisions, insights, and tradeoffs clearly to cross-functional stakeholders
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in product management or a closely related product discipline
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Experience with payments, subscription billing, service plans, memberships, or recurring and loyalty products
Experience with product analytics, experimentation, and customer engagement tools (i.e. Amplitude, Segment, Braze, LaunchDarkly)
Strong knowledge of Product Management methodologies, user experience (UX) principles, product discovery, experimentation, and agile development practices
Demonstrated ability to independently drive complex cross-functional product work from discovery and requirements definition through launch and iteration
Understanding of recurring billing and subscription lifecycle considerations such as billing experiences, plan management, customer retention, and ongoing service relationships
Ability to consistently work Eastern Time hours to support collaboration with the squad and cross-functional partners
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve workflows, streamline execution, or enhance outputs

Location Dependent Information
This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $133,200- $162,800 + Equity. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
