Product Designer

As an AKQA Designer, you will play an essential role in the strategy, conception and design of beautiful ideas, products and services. You will bring exceptional creative thought and craft output, developing and delivering projects from brief to end user.
Located in Berlin, Germany, as part of the AKQA team, you will work in an environment that fosters a dynamic and meritocratic culture, surrounded by some of the brightest minds in their fields.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Design effective, innovative solutions across digital touchpoints, including websites, apps, and interfaces, with strong interaction and communication design craft.
Champion excellent design, craft, and technology standards.
Build and maintain design systems, including Figma components, variables, and tokens.
Create creative mood boards, style guides, and translate brand direction into polished digital work.
Ideate and co-design with peers and clients in a positive and collaborative manner.
Present design work confidently to stakeholders and build trusting relationships.
Deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.
Collaborate closely with UX, strategy, and the wider product design team as a core member of the group.
Share knowledge across Experience Design and AKQA, and mentor mid-level and junior designers.
Stay current on design and technology trends, and bring new thinking into your work.
QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS
4+ years within a dedicated digital design role.
Proven track record of designing beautiful, intuitive digital products
Strong experience across Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools ( Principle, Framer, Protopie or similar).
Proficient in user-centred design methodologies and design thinking
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of motion design is desirable but not essential.
Conceptual thinking is a plus.
