About the Role

Monks’ Experience Center of Excellence (CoE) is looking for a Producer based in Toronto to join our North American production team. Our team works with some of the world's most innovative brands, with the projects spanning across Web/AI, Content, and Experiential/Events. The desired candidate can operate in an integrated fashion and has experience in multiple of these areas.

Responsibilities:

As a production team member at Monks, you’ll partner with the world’s leading brands to plan and produce an array of productions ranging from immersive web, AI, experiential, live events, and everything in between.

You’ll execute productions from kick-off to delivery using your leadership, communication and time management skills, owning the earlier phases alongside your Executive Producer; turning often rough and raw ideas into smart production ready plans with clear visions for success, solid SOWs, timelines and profitable budgets.

You’ll provide production and client management while producing multiple projects from beginning to end.

You’ll be responsible for successful day to day management of projects as well as continued long-term success between Monks and our clients.

Manage productions with budgets of $100K to $2M+.

Communication is one of the central roles for our production team. You’ll be communicating with:

Clients and prospective clients – about our thinking, services, value, brand reputation, ideas and our executions.

Project teams - managing the day-to-day across all disciplines, from strategy/UX to creative, development and QA.

Executive Producers – about projects risks, obstacles, and solutions.

Department Leads – to scope, quote, problem solve and develop solutions that meet creative and client needs.

Vendors - to help find the best fit for the project, negotiate scope, and kick projects off.

About You

The essentials:

5-7 years of experience in a production role.

Proven experience producing and leading a variety of productions ranging from immersive web and digital, experiential, live events, and more.

Strong client facing skills to help sell in a solution, while upholding a healthy client relationship.
