Principal Strategic Customer Consultant
About the Role:
We are seeking a Principal Strategic Customer Consultant to deliver value through our products via strategic testing roadmaps, recommendations that achieve their business goals, and ensuring ROI is clean and undeniable. This role exists at the intersection of deep product expertise and applied business strategy — working with a small portfolio of enterprise accounts to diagnose where they are, challenge where they're headed, and drive measurable change in how they use Bloomreach Discovery to compete.
You'll operate as a trusted advisor at the executive level, pairing with an Account Manager and Forward Deployed Engineer to form a dedicated account pod. While your FDE partner owns the technical architecture and implementation depth, you own the strategic relationship, the success plan, and the business outcomes your customers are accountable for.
This is a role for someone who shows up to customer meetings with a point of view — not just a product update.
Key Responsibilities:
Become an expert in Bloomreach products and craft joint roadmap plans with our key customers.
Partner with Product to understand the evolving product roadmap, influence prioritization through customer evidence, and develop strategies for adoption of new capabilities.
Value & ROI demonstration — Develop repeatable approaches to value measurement and reporting that demonstrate ROI, support retention, and uncover expansion opportunities.
Understand deep technical nuances of the products, yet be comfortable with executive communications and high-level strategies
Develop a culture of continuous testing within your book of business
Deliver high impact value reporting to your customers
Feature adoption — driving usage and communicating value of each new release
QBR / EBR prep, facilitation, and data ownership (AM owns commercials)
At like a business owner over your book of business, and be hyper focused on gross retention and commercial risks
Lead executive-level strategic discussions that move beyond product performance to business priorities, investment decisions, and long-term growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, operations, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
7-10 years of experience in SaaS or eCommerce, specifically within Search and Product Discoverability
Excellent executive communication skills, comfortable presenting to executive audiences at Fortune 10 companies.
Comfortable having technical conversations but can also develop a winning strategy.
Entrepreneurial mindset, with a high level of energy, dedication, and an unrelenting drive to succeed and win
Analytics background - comfortable finding stories within the data and have used tools like Tableau and Redshift
