Job Title: Principal Software Architect (Must: Go, Kafka & AWS)
Position Overview: As a Principal Architect with Go at SantexGroup, you will be part of a seasoned team of software engineers and will help accomplish the company goals through feature development and delivery.
Project: Manage travel and expenses all in one place—with a connected card at the center
Responsibilities:
Design, implement and deliver complex software systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technical roadmaps
Understand an collaborate in architectural decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability
Conduct code reviews, .follow coding standards, and enforce best practices
Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Principal Architect or Staff Engineer with focus in Backend or similar role
Expertise in one or more programming technologies
Go
Kafka
SQL
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, Lambda Functions
Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies
Experience in Fintech / Banking, dealing with large volumes of data and traffic
Nice to Have:
Contributions to open-source projects or technical publications
