Responsibilities

We’re hiring a Principal Product Manager, Web Experience at Workato.

Our website is where buyers form their first impression, analysts understand our direction, technical teams evaluate our platform, and customers discover what they can do next.

We’re looking for a product leader to own that experience—bringing together visitor needs, company narrative, design, content, and technology to build understanding, trust, and growth.

This is a senior individual contributor role with company-wide influence and ownership of the website strategy, roadmap, priorities, and measurable outcomes.

What you’ll own

Visitor needs and strategy: Understand our audiences through research, analytics, and customer feedback. Define priority journeys and a roadmap tied to visitor and business outcomes.

Information architecture and navigation: Make our platform and content easy to explore through clear site structure, taxonomy, search, and discovery paths.

Design and brand experience: Partner with Design to shape visual storytelling, layouts, and interactions that communicate our value and build confidence.

Content and evaluation journeys: Connect product pages, solutions, customer stories, analyst research, resources, on-demand videos, events, demos, documentation, and learning experiences.

Growth and experimentation: Improve acquisition journeys and qualified conversion. Test copy, layouts, navigation, forms, and calls to action; turn findings into shipped improvements.

Governance and delivery: Own prioritization and experience standards. Establish content ownership, freshness, and launch readiness, partnering with Engineering on performance, accessibility, and measurement.

Requirements

Core skills and experience

Product leadership: Experience owning a complex B2B SaaS website or digital product, with a track record of setting direction, making tradeoffs, and delivering measurable results.

Research and information architecture: Ability to translate visitor needs into intuitive journeys, navigation, taxonomy, and content discovery.

Design judgment and storytelling: Strong instincts for visual hierarchy, interaction, brand expression, and communicating complex technology clearly.

Content strategy: Experience organizing diverse product, editorial, video, event, and educational content into connected experiences.

Growth and analytics: Hands-on experience with funnel analysis, instrumentation, A/B testing, conversion optimization, and connecting behavior to business outcomes.

Web fluency: Practical understanding of CMS platforms, SEO, AI-driven discovery, accessibility, mobile experience, and technical performance.

Cross-functional leadership: Ability to align Product, Marketing, Design, Engineering, Data, and Sales, resolve competing priorities, and drive delivery.

AI fluency: Hands-on use of AI for research, prototyping, content workflows, analysis, and experimentation, with strong quality judgment.

Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics

Leads through influence across Marketing, Brand, SEO/AEO, Product, and Engineering.

Comfortable making prioritization trade-offs and explaining them to senior stakeholders.

Collaborative and transparent: priorities and results are visible.

Curious and quick to learn: you will get to know a technical platform well enough to make sound product decisions about how it is presented.

How we’ll measure success

You’ll own the website scorecard, tracking visitor task completion, understanding of our differentiation, content discovery and journey progression, qualified conversion, and experience quality.

You’ll partner with Growth and Revenue Operations to drive qualified traffic, accepted leads, and website-sourced pipeline.

We’d love to see what you’ve shipped, the decisions you owned, and the results you achieved.
