Principal PM AI Governance - Runtime Governance

About OneTrust

OneTrust helps organizations operationalize trust through privacy, security, data governance, and responsible technology adoption. As AI governance becomes a board-level and regulatory priority, customers increasingly need structured ways to understand AI systems, assess risk, monitor behavior, and demonstrate compliance over time.

The Challenge

We are looking for a Principal PM to help shape the future of our AI Governance product with a specific focus on observability and enforcement across AI systems. This role is for a product manager who can connect strategy, execution, and technical depth to help us build the right platform capabilities for the next generation of governed AI.

You will help run squad activities and drive clarity across product, engineering, design, and go-to-market stakeholders to ensure we are building capabilities that are durable, differentiated, and ready for where AI governance is heading next. The ideal candidate brings a strong product mindset along with a background in cybersecurity, SIEM and AI/MLOps.

Your Mission

Own and drive product direction for core AI Governance capabilities related to observability, policy enforcement, controls, and signal-driven governance across AI systems.

You will help define how customers can:

Gain visibility into AI systems, models, agents, and their behaviors over time using SIEM solutions

Collect and operationalize governance signals across development, deployment, and runtime environments

Enforce policies to build responsible AI and secure-AI use cases

Investigate risk, drift, policy violations, and operational issues with confidence

Connect governance requirements to measurable controls, workflows, and evidence for compliance outcomes

What You’ll Do

Partner with engineering and design to run an effective squad cadence, maintain clarity on priorities, and turn ambiguous opportunities into actionable product direction

Define product requirements and roadmap themes for AI observability, enforcement, and governance workflows

Translate cybersecurity, platform, and AI/MLOps concepts into customer-facing product capabilities with special focus on SIEM and SOAR capabilities.

Identify the right future-facing platform investments to support governance for models, agents, prompts, evaluations, runtime signals, and policy controls

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand market needs, technical constraints, and regulatory expectations

Drive decisions on what signals should be captured, how they should be normalized, and how they should power governance actions

Ensure product choices balance near-term customer value with long-term platform extensibility

Support launches, customer conversations, and strategic storytelling for this area of the portfolio

What Success Looks Like

The squad is operating with strong product clarity, execution discipline, and measurable outcomes

Customers can observe meaningful AI system behavior and governance signals in a way that supports action, not just reporting

Enforcement capabilities are practical, scalable, and aligned to real enterprise governance workflows

The product roadmap anticipates where AI governance is going, not just where the market is today

Cross-functional partners see this product area as strategically coherent, technically credible, and commercially important

You Are

A strong product manager who can operate comfortably in technical, ambiguous, and fast-moving domains

Fluent in cybersecurity concepts such as controls, risk signals, policy enforcement, monitoring, and incident-oriented thinking

Experienced in AI/MLOps ecosystems, with experience in building SIEM and SOAR solutions including model lifecycle considerations, evaluation signals, runtime monitoring, and production governance patterns

Comfortable leading through influence across engineering, design, GTM, and executive stakeholders

Structured in how you run product discovery, prioritization, and squad execution

Future-oriented and able to identify platform capabilities that will matter as AI systems become more agentic, distributed, and operationally complex

Clear and persuasive in written and verbal communication

Your Experience Includes

12+ years in product management, with meaningful experience in enterprise software or platform products

Direct experience in one or more of the following domains: log collection, inference generation, cybersecurity, AI/MLOps, , platform observability, or risk/compliance technology

Track record of shipping technical platform capabilities in partnership with engineering teams

Experience working with telemetry, monitoring, policy, controls, or enforcement-oriented systems

Ability to understand complex technical architectures and convert them into strong product decisions

Experience balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and strategic platform thinking

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Extra Impressive

Experience with AI governance, model risk, or responsible AI programs.

Have built SIEM capabilities or product to drive meaningful signals.

Familiarity with enterprise AI stacks, agent frameworks, or evaluation/monitoring pipelines

Experience building products that connect governance requirements to operational systems and evidence

Background working in privacy, security, compliance, or trust-related software markets

Comfort engaging with strategic partners, large enterprise customers, and senior leadership on product direction
